Are you a stoner?

Fuck, the next time someone calls me a druggie I'll call them a biggot to see how they like that, as that's what they are. You wouldn't call someone a faggot, would you?
 
I smoke everyday. Just to get high and also for pain. I'd rather smoke herb than take the opiates given to me by docs. So yes, I'm a big stoner.

I pretty much smoke every day whenever I can and when I have the money for it. I am into lots of stonerish things and my room is messy. I usually have longer hair than most people. I have a job and go to school. I drive an old rusty ass van.
I'd say I'm a stoner.

I agree. The only people I consider 'stoners' are usually highschool kids(not exclusive to them though) who play out the the role of a stereotypical 'stoner' and have a certain style of speech i find pretty damn annoying.


In my JR high years, before I ever touched weed, everyone thoght I blazed because I had long hair, wore hemp necklaces, and stuff like that. Now a days a lot of people are kind of surprised when i say that i blaze.
 
i hate the word pothead worse than stoner. it's all the same tho. it's a way to label a group of people as somewhat less than people who aren't pot-smokers.

hopefully we're just people that have a hobby/habit that is much healthier than what most people compare it to and maybe a bit less annoying than your cousin's marathon running obsession.
 
Stoner > Pot head?

I dunno -- I've had this convo with my friends. We decided stoners can be productive members of society, or unproductive. Just like you can't say a basketball player must be a positive role model, how can you classify a person by a single activity they participate in? If you smoke regularly, you are stoner, but you are also much more than that, too (i hope).


And yes, I would feel insulted if someone called me a druggie or pothead to be honest. But I am a stoner, i love trees.
 
I actually was unmotivated and not productive before I started smoking weed (and other drugs), but my case is strange and has a lot of complicated stuff in it hahaha.

Just got me to open my mind and realize life is worth trying at. Life is about doing what you love honestly, and if you love sitting around and smoking, or any other thing, who cares what others think. Right? (As long as it isn't destructive in a way that is harmful for yourself or others)


Oh, and not having a gigantic house and fancy things doesn't mean you are being destructive, personally I prefer living an average lifestyle. I grew up privileged, and I ran away at 16 (ended up living with other family for a while). I now live alone in a crappy apartment, going to school and all, but I am much happier this way.
 
What is a Stoner man? in my prespective a stoner is some1 that is getting stoned oftenly
the stereotipe of stoners has happend because when your stoned ur just plain stupid and u do/say stupid funny shit that u wouldnt normally do and when ur stoned u most of the time look like shyt so people define stoners as what happens when u are stoned that means that a stoner is a person who like to get stoned and get stoned oftenly
 
if i spend more hours stoned then not a week does that mean im a stoner? if so then yep im a stoner.

I agree 100%, it depends on the context one is saying the word.

If they are saying it to degrade and compare or put-down, then they deserve to get their ass kicked by a scrawny little stoner! hahahahahahaha
 
I am a stoner , but I dont fit in with the regular "stoner" stereotype. Im intelligent, well spoken, I hold down an awesome job, I am a parent, and a damn responsible one too, and I still call myself a stoner just because the name is what it is. I am stoned, therfor I must be a stoner.

theres in my opinion, the a-typical stoner as you stated in the orginal post. and then heres the stoner who msmokes weed everday, has good reason as to why they smoke it (so it has meaning i guess) and is productive with there life, just a normal stoner. its sad that even weed has to have a stereotype attached to it but whateveer. i im productive and know im a stoner, and im damn proud of it :)
 
yes, i would consider my self a stoner. or someone to get high with anything but marijuana is what i use 98% of the time. only because i can get top grade dank for cheap all the time.and i do love marijuana but i love the hydrocodone a little bit more. mixing them is my favorite thing to do ever.


i have been smoking for a year and five months, with a 4 month break in there. this month my girlfriend left out of town. the reason i had that break was cause she hated me smoking, so i quit for her. well for the time she is gone, and until she gets back, i have become a pot head. i smoke all the time, and high grade shit too. two days ago i bought a half ounce of lemon haze and afghan, and im already down to about a gram and a half. im taking advantage of this time!!! im high right now so sorry if this is stupid. smoked a rillo and took bongs hits on 60mg vicodin mmmmmmmmmm
