Are txt messages strong enough evidence?

Hello, sry if the thread is in the wrong section, its regarding the events that happened in UK (england).

So, I was on a night out and got a few bags of MDMA (3g alltogether). Halfway through the night he goes out of the club into a secluded little corner off the street (quite close to where people from the club smoked) and some random girl also from the club comes up and starts talking to me. In that moment a police van pulls up behind them I stuff the drugs down his pants after which the police searches arrests him on susspicion of possesion with intent to supply and takes him to a cell. No money or drugs exchanged hands between myself and the girl. When they took the girl they searcher her and found no drugs or money even though she was claiming I was offering her drugs (even though I didnt) and that she didnt do anything. They raided his house and took his phone to look through text messages. Afterwards I get a charge for possesion with intent to supply Class A and Class B (there was texts on the phone suggesting both). I got charged for supply of class A because of the even outside the club and there is no evidence to support it apart from the texts (txts which look like I am dealing class As to my friends (not random people)).

So basicly I was wondering if he would be alright with pleading innocent or would the texts on the phone be enough evidence for him to get sentenced? Or what would be the best thing to do

P. S. Apologies if its confusing, its been stressfull. Any help or stories about similar events and outcomes would help

The law doesn't discern between dealing to friends and dealing to strangers. Get as decent of a lawyer as you can is probably about the extent of the useful advice anyone on here can give you.

I haven't read the op in detail but i do know that Text messages are for amateurs better off making a straight phone call .
Someone on here was prosecuted n did jail n if i can recall text messages were one of the biggest mistakes . I'd say you were fuked tbh . Friends , Random people all the same i'm afraid .

Getting raided for 3 grams, pigs. No point asking on here anyway mate ask your solicitor, unless of course we have one on here.

P. S. Apologies if its confusing,

It was a bit.

Are you saying they were YOUR drugs, but you stuffed them down HIS pants, and HE got arrested for it??

Actually don't answer that. If texts incriminate you chances are forum posts will also. Heh heh

I doubt you'd go down for such a small amount, unless you have previous. You could plead personal...

text messages are indeed admissible in court, whether theyre enough evidence in of itself is a moot point you would need to discuss with a qualified solicitor

as technology has progressed so too has police interest in phone & computer data. turning off your phone-full-of-incriminating-shit & putting faith in a pin code is no longer sufficient, even deleted texts can be retrieved & read. when discussing anything illegal it is best to do so over the phone, if texts must be employed then devise a unique code & stick to it religiously. proceed on the basis that your texts are being read all of the time, as it is all too simple to fall back into bad habits

anyway, dont sweat it. my first intent to supply class-a charge was at the tender age of 17, also ecstasy - believe i got community service & a fine. even within charge they will delineate between the smack dealer caught with 100 bags & a few friends sharing pills. ask for drug counselling & take as many good character statements as you can carry

Dont drop the soap. Or talk to anyone for that matter, you'll only antaganise
