yes the 29g is better. I use 28g and its perfect. anywhere between 28g and 31g is correct. You might want to go with 1mm/1cc but it depends on what your injecting. .5mm/.5cc is fine for injecting dope but 1mm/1cc is better for injecting pills.
 
^29g should be fine, though personally I prefer 31g, as they are the smallest. I wouldn't advise using anything lower than 28g. We don't normally allow sources, but for harm reduction purposes/supplies I believe it is ok. Please take a look at the threads that amapola posted, as it should answer all of your questions.
 
so you guys think she will be okay if I buy it her it's for heroin by the way? I don;t wanna waste my money lol
 
Yes it certainly will work for shooting dope.. Why can't you just run it by her, before you buy them, to make sure she won't have a problem with them? Some people are very picky about needle gauge/length/barrel size.
