Are there honestly any worthwhile Research Chemicals?

I LOVED LOVED LOVED 6-apb when it was first released, the dirty brown TCP smelling powder was easily the most euphoric substance Ive ever taken. Subsequent batches, light tan powder lacked the euphoria of the first batch.

aMT and MXE gave me the most profound experience, losing my sense of reality with visuals so real I thought I would never come down. This was at stupid high doses of both.

Mephedrone was and is one of my favourites, highly euphoric and a sexual edge that's close to vaping MDPV (well nothing comes close to the hornyness of perve powder)

Ive experimented with lots of RC's over the years, I think the RC honeymoon is over now, bans in China, America and the UK has dampened the search for novel new substances

Have you looked at any vendor sites lately? The problem isn't the lack of new substances, it's that they're pulling so many new substances out of their ass that people can't keep up (last time I looked at a vendor site I was overwhelmed by a list of 30+ acronyms for drugs I'd never heard of before). And each time a drug gets banned and replaced by a new variety, we get further and further from mainstream chemicals which have been researched and are taking greater and greater risks of unknown side effects.

Not sure if you took both at the same time, but... I'd agree either way. aMT & MXE together was something else. Do NOT do this, it's not safe.

I liked aMT a lot but I was lucky that I got on well with it because it lasts a long long time. If it's not for you, you're in for a 16-20 hour rough ride/

The difficulty in obtaining RCs kind of fucked up my post WD plan. After a couple months out from opiates I thought a bit of MXE would be less harmful than getting drunk all the time. Not to be.

Question for the thread: are there any worthwhile legal drugs?
 
The only ones I can think of are the type you are trying to get away from.

Obtaining RC's in general is easy, obtaining the actual chemical you ordered is the tricky part.

Although you probably dodged a bullet with the MXE thing. I found in a few periods where I wasn't using (non-suboxone) opiates and I had access to a steady and dirt cheap (often outright free) supply of MXE, it gradually spiraled into a replacement drug almost as problematic as the opiates were (acutely anyway, dissociatives are fiendish as all hell in the short term, but aren't as big on the long term cravings as opiates, luckily). That cool 'floating in outer space' place isn't quite a match for the warm cloud of opiate bliss, but if you're determined enough to self medicate it can come in at a distant second, especially if you IV it.

Unfortunately it seems to have some kind of stimulant as a metabolite, a metabolite which builds up in your system the more you shoot it, and so after you go on a bender you end up completely twacked while slowly trying to re-attach to reality, barely able to walk, see straight or put a sentence together. Kinda like vodka meets ketamine with a dash of heroin, all of which slowly metabolizes into really dirty speed at an exponential rate.

In fact the drug itself seems to need to build up in your system to keep going. I'd do one 30mg shot and be back to normal in an hour, then do a second and be doing the Space Oddity thing for 2 hours, then another shot and so on and so on. In theory you could have one shot and come back to reality in an hour and not deal with the crazy dissociamphetamine effect, but we all know how that theory works out :|
 
whats the deal with 3meo pcp? does anyone recommend it? and what drug would one compare it to in terms of effects?

should be trying some very soon just have no idea what Im in for.. my only experience with RCs is 4FA, MXE and 2CB - all of which is minimal to say the least
 
Damn. Some of these RC psychedelics have a crazy long duration. 12 hours for bk-2cb & 16-20 hours for aMT! Sounds like one hell of an experience!

I know a few people who rate it, we had a discussion about it in the ketamine thread sometime last year if you wanna dig it up. Personally I don't like anything that long lasting, but a friend of mine says it grew on him once he got the dose right, though it doesn't compare to MXE or K.
 
Yes... yes there are. As for 3 meo pcp it's more like a manic episode with dissociative overtones. I enjoy it but most don't or just lose their shit big time. MXP is ok I guess. MXE is lovely. Most other RC dissociatives are rather crap NEK for example, pretty much like K but you gotta have so much vs ketamine it's not worth the effort. K is K and it's ok.

The 4 aco/ho analogues are worth a look but IMO anything 5 meo tryptamine is utter shit or possibly life threatening. AL LAD is brilliant. Likewise aMT. Careful with doses and always use mg scales.

Cathinones... 4 MMC gets a tick, 3 MMC not bad, 4 MEC ok, bk MDMA rather dull, pentedrone meh and the rest are utter bunk or can OD you if your just a few mg over the desired dose.

3,4 CTMP = DANGEROUS. MPA = vasoconstrictive nightmare with minimal payoff. EP= ok but can be a bit cardio toxic and vaso constrictive. Bugger all MDPV analogues just stay the hell away, same goes for peevee itself.

2 FA, 4 FA , 2FMA, etc are all reasonable but again can be highly cardio toxic.

Benzo's Phenaz has a long half life, takes an age to kick in and can lead to accidental overdose. Etizolam is a winner. Flubromaz also rates highly. The rest are pretty shitty IMO.

Psychedelic PEA's... 2cb good, 2cc ok, 2cd great, 2ce... heavy, 2ci can go either way, 2cp not for me. 3ce ok. Again dose safely with mg scales. Nbome's etc can be good or utter shit seems to vary from individual to individual and even from say a dose of whichever analogue say 25i to 25c. Alyescaline good, the rest worth a try if your into psychedelic PEA's. Bromodragonfly is one nasty drug, scary shit and lasts for 30+ hours. DOC, DOI, DOB, DOM are ok if you like trips that last 16-20 hours or more.

Moral of the story research the drug your going to consume. If it's pretty much unknown I'd dissolve in H20 and administer mcg doses based on say 1 mg to 20 ml's and consume 1 ml hence 50 mcg. I'd not dose for 12 or more hours, most likely the next day, if I wanted to increase the dosage because the initial trail had 0 effect. My other advice is don't binge like you can do with cut street drugs. These RC's are usually completely uncut and active in mg doses or lower.

I was given 2 tabs of AL-LAD at a house party a week back, didn't have any visuals but there was definitely a weird headspace. Not that similar to LSD ime, I felt quite lost/foreign. YMMV.
 
Yeah AL LAD not as visual as LSD. Mind you I suspect you have been getting some quality LSD ;). Quite a lot of LSD is rather bunk though due to synthesis, handling and storage etc. That kind of LSD gives me "acid farts" and fuck all visuals. Then again LSD not as visual as say 4 aco dmt. I enjoy AL LAD but some don't. LSZ is another interesting chemical that is an analogue of LSD but one I think is... rather dull but others may love. Crankinit is not a fan of 3 meo pcp and therefore would not like pcp as they are subjectively quite similar IMO. But he loves MXE as do I. There are that many RC's out there.

Didn't even get into the APB's... Great mixing 5 apb and 6 apb: 60mg - 70 mg IMO. By themselves 6 apb is quite fun but 5 apb rather sedating. Then you have 5 apbd 5 mapb 5 mapbd 6 mapb 6 apbd 6 mapbd etc which are all rather interesting. 5 eapb not quite so interesting. This is again my own opinion. Some froth at the prospect of MDPV. Others 4 MMC. Some like the fluorinated amphetamines. Really all a subjective matter of personal preference and experience. I'm not big on meth, it's rather shite, but I like amphetamine sulfate when I can find it. Whatever tickles your fancy really. Just be bloody careful when trying new RC's for the first time and weigh the stuff. Pretty good idea about those AL LAD tabs... not something you can really find just kicking about with the local street dealer.

As for street drugs aka mdma, speed/meth, heroin, cocaine... as long as you got a good source well enjoy. High purity "traditional" drugs should be treated with respect as much as new random RC's. Cut shite should be treated with extreme caution or just flushed or purified if your able to. Just hope that you get some value when you acetone wash the crap out of something. Otherwise cut shite should be avoided or just flushed. Same goes for RC's that just about kill you cause you were dumb enough to "research" them... 3,4 CTMP comes to mind.

The argument about "traditional" vs RC? Well IMO and IME both can kill the fuck out of you if you OD on them. I have not quite kicked the bucket yet but come pretty fucking close on both "traditional" and RC drugs. High purity traditional drugs are just as potentially dangerous as any RC. I recall the mid 90's in Sydney when you'd walk past a car and someone was OD'd in the fucker...

I can only speak for the UK, and will only opine on those currently legal here.
MPA is a fantastic functional stimulant with almost zero recreational capacity, upping the dose just causes typical stimulant side effects without the good bits.
EPD is more recreational but feels like a cardiac event in powder form. With scatty paranoia thrown in for good measure!
5f-AKB-48 is a 'serious' cannabinoid, low doses are mildly enjoyable and share aspects with marijuana. High doses and it becomes an entirely different animal. Confusion, hallucinations (both positive and negative), severe panic with self perpetuating hypertension, along with serious sedation but sleep is impossible. It seems like it's trying to be so many different drugs, or that it's hitting multiple receptor subtypes. Dosage is everything.
Diclazepam is a really underrated benzo, not a great hypnotic but serious anxiolysis. Also causes pretty remarkable amnesia even at low doses. Always made me feel subjectively 'sober', but with the inhibitions of a drunk with a Xanax habit. Perfect to take with psychedelics: doesn't dull the trip or sedate you so you can't enjoy the psych, but removes all anxiety, thereby reducing 'bad trip' possibilities massively.
5-MeO-DALT - odd. Very, very odd. It is marketed as a psychedelic but feels closer to a retarded, inbred half cousin of empathogenic stimulants. Not bad in combination with a straight stimulant but terrible as a 'main course'.
aMT is perhaps the most beautiful RC I can think of, and is one of my favourite drugs in general. Has the same intimacy and emotional openness as MDMA, but without the artificial feeling of the latter. If you can get past the nauseating come up, the peak is beautiful - euphoric bliss, warm rushes, major stimulation, tactile euphoria combined with a major psychedelic element, breathing walls, text changing colour, geometric patterning and the world taking on a very cartoon like appearance. Add in the spectacular duration. Amazing. <3
BK-2CB feels very similar to aMT, but is much more psychedelic. Not acid level, admittedly, but definitely a psychedelic. As opposed to aMT which feels closer to a euphoric empathogen. Duration is long, again, like aMT: 12 hours plus.
It does cause significant temperature change though, in the first hour body temperature spikes, but drops to a feverish chill around 150 minutes in. Vasoconstriction is prominent, too.
Overall, a lovely chemical.

I've taken three of these compounds as I write this (MPA, BK-2CB and aMT), so make of that what you will. :D

All of the above plus you may recall my MDPV/MPA OD... yeah same ball park. Some people are ok but stick to one 10 mg "research pellets". Two is too much and TBH it's not worth researching IMO. Loads of people UK land have had dodgy experiences with 3,4 knock on the door.
 
SproutOnSmack: cool info and first hand knowledge! Always a plus. aMT is gold, just fucking gold a great tryptamine and I'm glad it's still legal in UK after all this time. Bk-2-cb is good but I like 2cb more and bk 2cb vs 2cb well I'll chomp 2cb. Thing is I don't care much for 2cx's these days done my dash. 5 meo anything is puss in my opinion and it seems you think not much of 5 meo dalt either so supports my opinion. Space junk I got a 10 pack took two felt like I did on too much MDPV and MPA (cardiotoxic, tachycardia, high BP, stimulant OD) just shit house flushed the rest and have not touched since. Of course all these chemicals are illegal as hell in good old Australia.
 
I found DOC, the 2c's, Etizolam and anything I'm forgetting very enjoyable.

I want to try MXE/PCP analogues, mephedrone, other benzos analogues, 4-aco-dmt, 4-ho-dmt and some of the cleaner, safer psychs.

I don't want anything to do with nbomes or 5-meo-dmt!

Why no 5-meo-dmt?
 
Mephedrone is the single most euphoric rush I have experienced in 10 years of drug use.
It feels like winning the lottery while fucking an angel.

I sniffed 300mg's 5 days ago and I was ..... Well it was almost to good.
