Heroin Are there any other drugs that you can inject that produce a nice rush like heroin?

I am trying to quit heroin and having a very hard time. My biggest issue is that I am totally hooked on the IV rush. I don't even care much about the high any more, only the rush. I love injecting heroin. Problem is, in one year, I spent 85% of my entire savings (over $20,000) on heroin. Clearly, this needs to stop.

But can I get some other drug that is cheap and gives you a rush? I was thinking perhaps a barbituate of some kind? I've read cocaine has a good rush, but the problem is, it's not cheap. I need a cheap drug, like one I could get prescribed, that I can shoot up and get a rush from. Any ideas?
 
IVing a barbiturate? Foolish at best.

IVing benzos is a safer bet, with less likelihood you'll die of an overdose.

IV methamphetamine, IV MDA, IV cocaine, IV heroin, IV / IM ketamine... those are the big ones in my head. LASTLY - vaporizing wax. This is like IV cannabinoids, without the need of an IV. Better for your body.

Meth is a little more cost effective than heroin, but I won't advise you switch TO that drug, not at all.

You could move to a country where heroin is more affordable. Or you could learn to find better rushes in life, like sex and drugs. (I'm referencing a South Park episode, I know heroin is a drug 8()

I had less personal savings than you did, I still spent at least 40% of mine on heroin. I feel where you're coming from.
 
i dont like stimulants . well i love the high, but i dont allow myself to take amphetamines because i just cant stand not being to able to sleep. ketamine i dont find euphoric. the one drug i can think of which gives a nice rush is nitrous but i dont use that any more.

OK, ketamine can be dysphoric, to like a lot of people. Therefore it's interesting you even like nitrous. You could use that for a few days to cope with withdrawals but I don't recommend regular use of it, there's a person who has experienced harmful effects from a life-long nitrous addiction.

I also understand insomnia from amphetamines really sucks dick, so you don't want that. :)

Well my friend, it has come to my attention psychedelics might be the answer for you. You can IV a 2c-_ and have a totally adverse experience which will likely yield you never trying IV drug use ever again... or you could merely eat some LSD or mushrooms. The latter is preferred. ;) Don't use hard drugs while on the journey, and you'll become a stronger person.
