Are there aany older E users out there?

meagain - yep, plenty of mums and dads on this board. A few off the top of my head:
- Web (moderator in the 'life' forum)
- doofqueen (from Australian Social)
... there are more but I can't remember right now. Yes, I think it's possible to combine both "lives" and strike a balance. I hope so anyway, because that is what I intend to do too.
You owe it to your children to be happy and satisfied within yourself, as well as being a responsible parent :)

There is a definate balance my wife and I are 33 and 37 we have two great kids 8 and 6. They are both very active in sports and we are active in the community. We both still enjoy clubbing and having a great time together. We go out about once evry 2-3 months. We are lucky to have grandparents close by to watch the kids overnight. We live the double life I guess but like everything if you keep a balance and enjoy in moderation it doesnt get old and we have both learned alot from our experiences. We learned about each other and ourselves. I am glad I didnt have the experience untill this late. I wouldnt have been able to handle the scene responsably back then.
 
Thanks, you guys! That gives me hope. However, we don't have grandparents nearby to help facilitate overnight or late-night outings ...Anyway, I'm sure we'll think of something.
Do any of you feel out of place rolling in clubs where most people are younger than you? I go through phases. Sometimes I feel so "old" and it bugs me. Other times, I really don't give a hoot. God, the first (and only) time I went to one of those big warehouse raves (horrible experience), some chick came up to us and said, "Wow! Are you having fun? It is so cool to see adults here."
Adults? Who are you calling an adult? :)
I knew she was just being nice, but it set me on edge a little. Like, "Oh, you mean it shows?" :)
 
Hi im 37 my ladie is 47,her brother is 51 we are all regular pillers,go clubbing,or just chill at our houses.We have all been rolling for about 2 years now and it has changed the way we all look at life.My brother inlaw and myself both have our own business,kids, houses and maintain a healthy life.I have 1 request when i die,dont throw dirt on my coffen throw pillz.

Its funny you should mention that. My wife feels like you do, sometimes its awkward and other times she doesnt care. I could care less if its a young crowd or older; for me its all about the fun, having a good time with my loved one and the overall experience. I say keep going to the clubs as long as its fun for you.
 
We're 29, I've been rollin along must be coming up to 2 years now? Normally about once a month we have a wee binge on a weekend...
Meagain asked if us older rollers have kids..... we don't - and don't plan to.
We're happy with our life as it is, (mdma or no)... we love our freedom and the minimal responsibilities we have.
We're both professional people, with a mortgage and the standard 'oldie' stuff but still love to get a helluva baked on and play up!!
 
I'm 33. I ate my first roll at age 29. I have a 5 year old and a 7 year old. Since I'm a single parent, it's pretty easy for me to switch roles. My kids go to their dad's house every other weekend, so I don't have to juggle doing the parent thing while I'm hung over. While some conservatives might think that rolling makes me a "bad" parent, I disagree. I feel that it keeps me balanced, and it gives me something to look forward to. When I party, I party hard, and when I'm with my kids, I stay focused on being a good mother. I roll around 6 times a year.
 
I'm 51 and have been rolling for nearly 4 years (about every six weeks. My son is 20. We've rolled at the same parties.
My new gf is 50. She rolled for the first time last night at a psy-trance event. She was totally blown away.

^^ wow. I wish my dad would be like that. If my dad ever found out I did any sort of drug, he would probably kill me. Only because he believes all the propaganda the media flushs into people's heads.
 
Vibr8tor-Beleive it or not I am pretty conservative as well and dont think it makes you a bad mom. We are parents of an 8 and 6 year old but we still like to go out and play hard on occassion. Even parents need there own fun time!! We dont let it get in the way of our parenting and the kids activities and we plan our nights out in advance. So even us conservatives still like to have a good time!! Have fun and be safe.
 
My friend is 50 and has been rolling on and off since the 1980s! I am in my 20s and he and I roll together and talk for hours, it's fun.
 
hello. I am 25 and my husband is 31. We have a 13 month old, who on the rare occaisions that we do e, stays with Gramma and Grampa. I will once in a while go to after hour clubs with my friends, but my husband never goes. We will be going to a massive for the first time in the summer, hope it will be fun.
 
I am 33 and have been taking pills for 4.5 years, but I only take them about 10 times a year, usually 1 (good) pill, or 2 (weak) pills each time. I usually go to raves, but the average age is about 20 so it is pretty funny sometimes. The strange thing is that I feel 20 (again) when I am rushing, and act like a 20 year old, so I feel I fit right in to the rave vibe. But when I ask most 20 year olds how old they *feel* when they are rushing, they say 20 !
I must admit though, i went to an all age rave a few months ago, full of teenagers, and I will never do that again. It was like been in high school again - NOT FUN!
 
I'm 31 and my husband is 29 (i like em young ;) ). I have a 14 yr old daughter ( her B-day is March 1 ) and my husband and i have sole custody of his two boys aged 7 and 8 . We've been rolling since 1998. I on the other hand have experimented with many different drugs since 1985. I must say I am more the wiser for it ;) .
 
hey guys...Im 24 and my bof is 33.Ive been taling pills since I was 18 and my bf since he was 17.....were not rteally into drinking so pills is the better optiom for us :-)
 
I'm 30 this year - my wife and I have been rolling for about 2 years - about once every 2-3 months. I'm glad I didn't get into it when younger... will probably start taking pills less often in the coming years, but will always go back for the occasional roll :)
 
I am 32 and my wife is 28. We have been rolling for 4 years. Used to about once a month. havent in 6 months cause our dealer got busted and simpily cant find it. Its quite upsetting cause it has worked wonders in our marriage. (she isnt the open type) Damn the government!
 
I'm 35 and my husband is 37. I first rolled 3 yrs ago. It was awesome. I have rolled about 4 times over the last 3 yrs.I'll most likely do it again.I find I like to roll when I know we're going out and away from our kids.

We are a couple of 44 and rolling since a few years from time to time. (Don't overdo it!)

Btw: Is everybody honest here about age???
Doubledutch says, they are 55, but elsewhere on Bluelight (and in their ID), they call themselves 35 years old. Big difference, isn't it??
