might be gettin some more of these 40mg oxycontin pills. are the orange ones the new formula that u cant snort or chew up to break the time release?

im also in australia. have they brought them out here yet.
I dont wanna snort one & waste it from it all turning to paste.
chewed one yestuday & didnt feel as strong as one i took just 20mg instant release
it infact felt weaker than the 400mg of codeine ive had today.

is it worth evn snorting them. they have a higher oral bioavailabilty anyway right?
 
No, they are not worth snorting at all. They should just be chewed & swallowed. They are definitely not as good as the old formulation. I wouldnt waste your time or nose on the new ones.
 
You can chew and swallow the new ones if you want, but it won't defeat the time release - that takes A LOT more effort and we don't ID pills here but there are lots of resources out there that do off-site. The BA is higher orally but some still prefer the quicker onset of intranasal administration.
