i have the capsules with the powder inside but i am not sure if that is a safety precaution to make them time released or if they are instand release regardless of the capsule holding the powder. i have never heard of any 'pill' forms but i was wondering if anyone knew if the capsules were time released or instant release like most benzos?

Instant release :)
Though the onset of temazepam is a bit slower than other common benzos, e.g lorazepam, and aplorazepam

The only form of temazepam Ive had is in capsule form and it only comes in instant release. It works pretty fast and you should feel it about 20 minutes or so after taking it on a empty stomach. It's fairly short acting so you don't get much of a hangover effect from it the next day.

it's my fav benzo by far and the only one i find to have any real euphoria to it. Id say try 60mg's first and go from there. It's a hypnotic so it's more drowsy then say alprazolam, lorazepam or clonazepam.

Temazepam is my favorite as well. Its main purpose is for sleeping but I don't find it very sweating, just very relaxing.

The first effects should be felt within half an hour depending on how much you have ate before taking it. The peak effects are usually felt an hour and a half after taking it.

Hi bunni, if it's ok with you I am going to edit the title of your thread because asking which formulation of a drug people "prefer" is not really suitable for Basic Drug Discussion. It seems like your question is more than that though and you are asking what the difference is between different formulations is and whether the formulation you have is instant release or time release, so I will leave your thread open for now but will change the title. (People can talk about the facts, like you could say "IR formulations have a faster onset and stronger peak than ER formulations", or "ER forms last longer", but not stuff like "brand A gets me way higher than brand B" or "drug XYZ is the best benzo" - hope that makes sense?)

Im guessing your capsules with the powder inside are Resoril brand or similar, if you can get hold of the old eggs/jellies 20/30mg then i used to just chew them up and let the the juices flow out and swallow.

I know they used to be made by Normison but i think they were discontinued due to many people injecting the liquid into there veins and thus causing alsorts of problems (amputated limbs etc) :(

In certain parts of Europe you can still get 20mg eggs/jellies made by Sandoz.
