Are street drugs as strong as they were in the 80s ?

Yeah, some dealers get lucky and get some decent low percentage coke, then they put shit to it

Too bad the actual poppy farmers don't make hardly any money from growing the poppy and it's the drug lords that make the profits. So shooting up is not helping a hungry Afghan family eat, it is just helping a money hungry drug lord become even richer. I don't support either war and I think our troops should be brought back home. Honestly though, how the fuck can you say you don't care about another human being's life? Maybe your opinion would change if you had family or friends over there.

Yeah the poppy farmers make a product that sells for hundreds of thousands but they make about 400$, I'm pretty sure if you ask anyone in the 3rd world they'd say that's a lot of money.

I have family in the military, and a friend in Iraq. Honestly I'd care if something happened to them, but I still find a lack of empathy.

I hear this kind of talk a lot from old junkies I think it's just nostalgia and old person will tell you everything was better back in the day

over here purity might not be going up but price is definetly going down so that's kinda the same thing imo

I was talking to one of my mates older brothers who would be 45 years old now and had been using since he was 22 and he was telling me once that drugs these days are shit to back when he started using... He reckons the purity of them these days are really low but he said weed has certainly increased in potency.

Oh I'm in Australia by the way.

Wasn't E legal back during at least part of the 80's? That would have kicked ass!

But everything else about the 80's sucked from what I can see. ;)

Yeah E was legal, to the extent that it could be purchased in gas stations. So I've heard.

I've never even done good blow. After seeing the movie 'Blow' I knew what i had was bullshit. My throats never even gotten numb.

Pharms have become safer, but I'd like to see Keith Richards talk shit about weak Pharmies after taking a couple Xanax bars. Ever since barb's disappeared it seems like death tolls on perscription drugs dropped, at least until Oxycontin became widely used.

My question is, when does a large scale return in Cocaine quality re-occur? Like what kinds of public policy would have to be enacted for drug baron's to enforce much higher cocaine quality? After reading my own question I've deemed it's quite hard to answer correctly, if at all.

Forgot to say about the ecstasy and weed situation in the UK. Ecstasy when I first had it in the late 80s would blow your mind. Even half a tab would be amazing. I did kick the ass out of it for a good few years but have had large gaps between my recent doses (2-4 years gap).
I had some at the start of the summer an not much really happened. Ended up having 5-6 during the night. I didn't sleep but I wasn't having fun either. Just looking at the pillreports site will tell you all you need to know.
MDMA powder is much more common. It comes in light brown crystals and is very strong and fucking kills when you snort a tiny bit!! Pills used to cost £10-15 when them first came out at the raves and parties now you can buy them for £2 each.
The MDMA powder is about £50 a gram and worth every penny.
Would just like to ad the best ever fake ecstasy I ever had was a batch called FidoDido it contained MDBD. I loved the stuff. The test results for the pills from about 1995 are still on the net somewhere was about 180mg per pill.
In the 80s and most of the 90s the only smoke was import has in various forms. Mostly week and over prices. Now its all homegrown skunk that kicks ass.

Overall we have it much better now apart from coke
