Hey guys

I have tried three opiates in my life: Tramadol, codeine, dihydrocodeine. For some reason I have never felt any euphoria, any good feeling at all in that matter when I have taken. Of course I've taken a dosage which should make me feel something good. Also, I usually experience such side effects as itchying, small pupils, half-closed eyes, dry mouth. And they also have served their actual purpose - to kill pain.
I'm have no addiction or tolerance to opiates, I have tried time to time.

Just to mention, been taking instant release pills and if extended release then I have beat the time release.

The euphoria a drug creates is purely subjective, one person may find marijuana to be much more euphoric to them than heroin.

opiates have a learning curve to get to the point where you like them i have found, especially codeine (no experience with dhc and tramdol didnt do shit for me). it took me probably a half dozen attempts w/ codeine to notice the nice effects it has but it wont bludgeon you over the head with euphoria.

those are very weak opiates and IMHO all of them are worthless, even weaker than hydrocodone.

not surprising, try some oxycodone or hydrocodone orally

I wouldn't recommend that they try something stronger since they are getting all the tell-tale signs of being high. I agree more with two posts up, with it taking a number of times before feeling the high properly. Also, it's not worth them finding something they might get hooked on. I say leave them alone. If you finally feel high from them you may wish you never did.

I tried tramadol, codeine, hydrocodone & oxycodone - and like you, experienced every effect... but the euphoria :/

Maybe there's something wrong - not actually wrong - with our livers? Maybe our lives are unable to breakdown these substances to morphine?

But then you wouldn't experience any pain relief or itching and such like you did. And not all pain killers metabolize into morphine, such as oxycodone which the person posting above you took and didn't feel any euphoria from.

Comparing weed to opiates is rubbish.

Oh believe me I know. I was an avid weed smoker for over 10 years and then picked up an oxycodone to heroin habit. The weed became a long forgotten friend, only rarely seen at parties when I was drinking and it happened to be offered. I could've just said what everyone else said, that those opiates are weak, but when I didn't have much of a tolreance I still felt decent on 90-120 mg of codeine, though it would've had nothing on a couple percs or 15-20 mg oxy up the nose.

Maybe you didn't take enough mg of drug per kg of body weight?

Years ago, I found dhc euphoric as fuck, but codeine did nothing for me. I've known many people who also didn't get euphoric from the drugs you listed; I guess some people just don't respond well to certain drugs.

Umm..I don't think he was comparing weed to opiates. The point is some people are going to enjoy or feel the euphoria from some types of drugs and not others. Everyone is different and perception is reality.

I also agree with Tommy..I wouldn't advise someone to keep trying stronger opiates/opioids until something works.if I were you OP I would just leave them alone. Be glad that is one trap you don't have to worry about falling into. Not everyone likes opiates/opioids.

some people, like me don't feel ANY euphoria at all from opiates, even IV morphine (albeit at doses used for pain management).

i took 30 mg vicodin yesterday with minimal tolerance, and felt good, felt euphoric, but it's like the euphoria itself is not of an interesting origin, i simply became bored with it and played minecraft lol. the comedown SUCKED, nausea, headache, lightheadedness, low blood pressure, etc.

whereas, with cocaine, i'm experiencing AMAZING 1000-mph euphoria, feel like i've become a god, then the comedown is not nearly as brutal as opiate comedown, it's mainly just sleepiness and tiredness.

then again, i've heard from people that opiates give them no comedown, yet cocaine makes them suicidal on the crash phase...

i suppose my brain is just wired a little differently than the average person.

by the way, OP, the opiates you mentioned all suck, except tramadol which i find almost as fun as high dose vicodin, but with a headache throughout the buzz.

I hardly get opiate euphoria from smoked heroin, some people just don't seem to get the euphoria
But I haven't tried it that many times.
Opiates seem to give better euphoria the more times you try them, like you need to learn to appreciate the euphoria

Yeah, I'm not overweighted, hardly 75kg. For instance I have taken 300mg of DHC, it should be quite big quantity for a person who is hooked on opiates.

That's the question: why I don't feel anything good?

Again some people just don't.
My first opiate session was 150mg of hydromorphone insufflated over two and half days.
Those doses should have killed me I've been told my numerous people, but I didn't even get euphoria

Taking a burning leak, to me, is more 'euphoric' than marijuana.... opiates are lovely
