does ne 1 dislike weed highs as much as i do? i mean i dont like the way weed makes me feel so paranoid, and anti social, and self esteem drops to my ankles. and i wanna hide haha,i feel worthless on pot, but opiates have 100% the opposite effect on me. i love opiates lol

^ This isn't the place for those conversations. Start a new thread for the weed, and Pill ID threads are verboten.

Anyway-

Hardly anyone has talked about it, but how many here use opiates primarily for the "morphine dreams" they can induce?

That's probably the only reason I continue. Suboxone doesn't get me high, just enough buzz for me to watch "mind movies" while I meditate.

no opiates are absolutely not the perfect drug.

would the perfect drug leave you a sick, filthy, vomiting wreck when you couldn't get any?

I think not.

thats an odd question isnt it- if some substance is a perfect drug. well since drugs really all affect processes within the body- the question becomes is there a perfect way to affect processes within the body. Odd question no? All i know is drugs that chemically affect the brain can do some wonderful things by affecting various functions. it doesnt matter to me if there is a perfect drug out there im happy with what the ones ive tried can do.

opiates are not hard on your liver at all. A very few are cardiotoxic. Pethidine, propoxyphene.

Whatever drug I am currently doing is the perfect drug, because it is me doing it.

Lately Ive just been burnt out on drugs. Too much of everything. So, Ive taken about 3 weeks off of drug usage, and I am now ready to resume. But in thinking of which drug i want to start off with, i realized something. Opiates might be the perfect drug. Hint: keep the words USED IN MODERATION in mind when reading this.

Think about it. Ecstasy is great. Wonderful high, great times bonding or dancing or whatever you like to do. Then comes the nasty comedown and the infamous "day after."

Coke (can also include other stimulants possibly). Fun as hell. Great rushes, good conversations. Then again, an even nastier come down. The only thing i want to do on a coke comedown is sleep or place a bullet in my head. And since sleep is so hard to achieve...well, better get some xanax or somethin cuz i dont really wanna shoot myself.

Mushrooms/lsd/any other Psychedelic. Trip out, laugh all night, meet god, get lost in the woods, whatever, its all fun on mushrooms. Yeah, all fun until you dont know who you are and you are left contemplating everything you learned for the next week and wondering if your life needs some dramatic change.

Xanax. Nice relaxing, euphoric high. Then the memory loss kicks in along with some horrible physical dependence.

But then theres opiates. Besides the obvious threat of addiction, which can come with many drugs, (but like i said, MODERATION) opiates treat you fairly nice. Think about insuffulated heroin. Easy come up, long, relaxing, euphoric high, then easy comedown, if you even want to call it a comedown.

Its like that with hydrocodone, codeine, and even oxycodone. Easy up, easy down.

So this thread turned out longer than I imagined, but does anyone agree that opiates have to be the perfect drugs? With such great effects and so very little bad side effects in comparison to other drugs, how can you go wrong?

its not like that for everyone. for me it goes like this:

hydrocodone = hours and hours of intolerable nausea.

opiates seem to treat their addicts better than a lot of other drugs treat people who get addicted to them but in terms of using in moderation, i don't see how they are more "perfect" than any other drug. they have tons of annoying side affects and i think for someone like me, i would actually need to get addicted to opiates before these side affects went away. using them in moderation is not an option at all.

to do away with the nausea. take a dramimine tab. u know a motion sickness tab. b 4 taking ne ocy codone it works.. really!

I think their pretty much perfect. and ive never felt any nausea on any of them except the day after i took some methadone. cant even see how any one would prefer weed or stims over some good opiates, i guess everyones different.

IMO opiates are the perfect drug because they are non-toxic and mimic what the brain's own "pleasure" neurotransmitters. I think it has to do with the non-toxic part the most, as far as comedowns are concerned.

Opiate addiction is mentally difficult to deal with as well.

As far as I am concerned, opiates are the best drugs by far. Then again, I'm completely biased :D
