Are opiates the perfect drugs?

lol you sound like how i used to be. I used to be only about ecstasy and mushrooms. I go through phases though and unfortunatley that one is coming to an end fast.

i'd say more than any other drug, cannabis' benefits outweigh the negatives. perfect? i dunno bout that

opiates are pretty nice but the rapid buildup of physical addiction makes it far from perfect. i know the thread says to ignore the addiction aspect but that kinda negates the "perfect" staus if it's only perfect when you ignore an imperfection

i know, that does make it a little (or really) biased. I dunno, i guess im just askin if people love opiates as much as i do basically hah. So just roll with it everyone.

i like opiates, but its just somehting i do if its around the house and i dont have any weed, alcohol, any form of stimulants or dxm.......

im withdrawing from hydros an oxys right now and i wish i was dead....everyone thinks they can do pills once in awhile. and they seem so inocente and you feel so good and then one day you wake up and realize your hooked and the only way you can feel good is to get some more....there are too many bluelighters who have given these warnings...I hope your dumbass doesnt listen. just tell your family your sorry now for the stupid shit your about to put them and yourself through...prepare to never be happy naturally again.retards.ya.im gonna do this shit that makes you feel great but just today.ya.just once a week.just to make x activities more fun.mmmhhmmm.see you at the methadone clinic dumbass

hahahaha warbot, you funny guy....you cannot speak for everyone just because you happen to be weakminded and cant control your drug intake doesnt mean everyone else is like that......I've been taking opiates(hydrocodones, vicodin, methadones) for over 2 years now and i honestly only do them when i want to get high and cant get a hold of any other drugs. I do them about 5 times every 2 months MAX....most of the time ill go 2-3 months without taking any opiates or even thinking about them.

no opiates are not perfect. they give me insane amounts of nausea, then constipation and other annoying physical side affects like itching. to me weed is far greater than opiates.

Opiates are perfect, too perfect. So unless you want to join the living dead I would strongly recommend from personal experience to save opiates only for those times of dire need.

Oh and your analysis of psychedelics leaves me completely assured that opiates will make you their bitch in no time.

No weedis the perfect drug , opiates are good but physical withdrawl makes them a bitch.

What is that supposed to mean? first of all, i dont understand how my analysis of psychedelics can lead you to the conclusion that opiates will "make me their bitch." Do explain.

Second of all, ive use various opiates countless times over the past 4 years of my life and have never had a physical or psychological addiction to any of them. I did heroin (insuffulated) for 3 months then quit out of nowhere because i actually lost interest in doing it.

I know how to use opiates. Now that ive experienced a few different types of opiates (including oxycodone and heroin) I only use opiates on special occasions because i think its a special experience that i dont want to ruin by building a tolerance or addiction. Honestly, opiates are the only drugs i do that i have that mindset about.

"ARE OPIATES THE PERFECT DRUG?"

Yes, my friend here certainly seems to think so:

And so does he:

:)

Ps. I can't wait for all the BL opiate addicts to come down on me with their junkie pride! I don't think I'm going to reply though...

I would probably not call them 'perfect', but definitely 'nearly flawless'. If they didn't have such an addiction potential they would be, well, perfect.

Over looking the obvious problems such as overdose and long term addiction its perfect :) It is so much more less taxing on your body compared to the other substances mentioned, and I know!!

opiates totally have the bonus for the bang, and that is an INTENSE high without an INTENSE comedown. If you do them a lot there is a comedown, but its more or less the next morning u feel kinda hungover and sick (at least i do).

its not like meth where u get high for 15 hours and feel like killing yourself when you crash so u do more meth to stop the shitty crash, just making the inevitable worse

its not like coke that, like meth, can make you feel like life is worthless when u come off a really intense high and run out of coke

na opiates just kind of make you think "fuck, im not high anymore!" and you roll over and go to sleep, and thats if u diddnt fall asleep before it wore off to begin wiht.

but yeah, are you going to say there is any drug out there that has a worse withdrawl?

hardly the "perfect drug." i mean sure all hard drugs have nasty withdrawl symptoms, but i dont think any of them could ever be as severe as opiate withdrawl.

Yes, but perfect means ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS

Granted, if it wasn't for addiction opiates would probably be the perfect drug - you just lie there & feel good about everything.
Great! Who wouldn't want that?

Unfortunately, in the long-term it is FAR from flawless, and you can't just forget about the possibility of a havoc-wreaking addiction when rating a drug.

Let's just say that if I was a millionaire living on a deserted island, I'd certainly want a plane to fly by and drop me some opium - but ONLY one dose every 3 months.

Big man, posting gross pics of smackheads living on the street. Because there are no gross potheads. Ever. And their lungs aren't rotted with cancer and tar. 8)
