Let me first explain what I mean. I am a regular heroin user, but am not and never have been physically dependent on opiates (except to a very mild degree). Not that this matters in regard to this question anyway though.
On Sunday, I took some heroin. I got a marvelous high from it. It was just wonderful, very euphoric. I mean I don't need to describe it, I am sure any opiate lover knows what I am talking about.
So then today I took heroin again. I am "high" right now but I am not experiencing any euphoria or much pleasant effects at all. It's not due to tolerance or anything like that because opiates have been like this since I first tried them 8 years ago. Sometimes I get fantastic, blissful highs and other times I just get itchy and sedated. I have not been able to figure out any determining that can predict what my experience will be like. It's just very variable. I wish there was a way to make the good highs more consistent.
So my question is to you opiate users out there, are you like me or do you get good (or at least decent) highs every time you take a good dose of your favorite opiates?
