RCs are noids safe?

i just stick to mother nature's own, real weed. why mess with all these synthetic noids? as above, the endocannabinoid system is still not well understood and so many of these RCs are such potent agonists, they can have deleterious effects that you will never experience with real bud, and using them will probably destroy your ability to enjoy the real thing ever again by blowing your tolerance to astronomical levels. why fool around with perfection?

I puff 2ne1, AM-2201, akF or whatever that one is (i'm a little too stoned and drunk) HOWEVER

They only last about 20 minutes, they are a little more addictive (compulsion to redose), but other than that, they get you in a good place mayne

No they are not safe, in fact it is safe to say they ruined my life. Ever since I smoked jwh and od'd I've never been the same. To be perfectly honest I wish it would of just fucking killed me. Sad but true, I've messed myself up safe yourself before it's to late

I thought the noid was in domino's commercials, not pizza hut's. I was only like 8 or 9 yrs. old when they were running the noid commercials though, so I could be mistaken.

It was dominos, Im in my 30s and I think those ads stopped running when I was 12 or so.....

Now that that's out of the way...

Synthetic cannabinoids have been pretty much proven to lack the safety index that THC has. If you OD someone on THC, worst case they usually end up nauseous or too stoned to stay awake. But OD's of synthetics from the JWH family (& its bastard children) routinely give people seizures and truly erratic behaviour. There have been quite a few reports of people getting horribly strung out on super K2 and having a real hard time returning to sober life, too...

I don't think there have been any incidents of JWH or whatever causing direct organ damage or cancer with chronic usage, to my knowledge JWH-018 was found to not be non mutagenic. The real danger seems to be adulteration (poor bloke who fucked his kidneys up consuming cadmium-laced URB597) and psychological dependency.

If you don't make a habit of dosing high-potency cannabinoid agonists, you'll probably be fine as long as you respect your limits. But then again, weed doesn't make people have uncontrollable seizures or make people go psycho when they withdraw.

I think the short answer is that young people are escaping the wrath of a failed drug test by substituting these RC's for the real thing. From where I sit they are not nearly as clever as they think but that's just my opinion. The price to pay for being so determined to get high that you are willing to roll the dice with these unknown quantities is sky high, as witnessed by this guy who posted below.

now that the noid thing is out of the way, this thread now has some good information! definitely reconsidering my usage of incense/synthetic cannabinoids now; they do not seem fit for daily/habitual usage. tbh, i woke up today and felt kind of off, could be related to a myriad of other substances i've been using, but i'm gonna commit to cut back on this stuff. I could see it having lasting effects on your psyche if used compulsively and devolve into a junkie-esque habit. so yeah, thanks.

so the duration. since it's like an hour at best the incentive to redose is huge. I've definitely kept that in mind while using this stuff for the past week or two, but even 2-3 times a day seems iffy. eh....
