Are my meds dangerous mix?

I'm not sure where the accurate place for this thread would be but I think this is it.

I've been on many medicines for anxiety, depression and drug induced psychosis and seizures as well. But now I'm only on 2 medicines for the past year just to treat my epilepsy they are.

Valproic acid er 500mg x 2 a day and topiramate 50mg x 2 a day. I'm concerned because online it said mixing the two causes higher levels of ammonia in the blood leading to a serious brain disorder.

Can Anyone medically inclined shed some light on this for me?

Have you asked your doctor? Providing they're the one prescribing both medications, I'm sure they're aware of any potential dangers and have either decided they are safe or that any small risk is worth the benefits. If I don't trust my doctor to know this, I'd get a new one. Just my $0.02

Should I be taking these medicines together? klonopin concerta lexapro and tramadol

I've been on klonopin for about 8 years now.. 2 2mg a day.. never no problems I've been on almost every anti depressants as well (don't work make me sick..make me mean..make me pyscho..makes me miserable) . i started taking lexapro again after like 3 years (10mg ,1 a day can move up to 20mg in 6weeks) and concerta(36mg once a day) (time Released riddilin) again and I'm curious to know how concerta ( ADHD ) lexapro (manic depression) and klonopin for my anxiety and panic ..combined... do work together?? or should they not be took together???..... i also have PTSD which there is no medicine for and I have a Traumatic Brain injury which causes alot of the ADHD and gave me the PTSD ...car accident. .innocent victim back seat lost two friends when I was 16 .. instant coma for weeks at grant hospital and then sent to children's to learn to walk talk eat and everything all over again. grant hospital wanted to send me to a nursing home at age 16 but parents wouldn't allow it... i also have short term memory loss..(concerta will help you focus, not get distracted so easily and supposed to help you learn more. I also am prescribed tramadol for arthritis don't take them always but when knees hurt they make me.kinda.... i take the other three saily.but . Do take.my tramadol when needed.



Bad combinations?

Doctors on jan. 25th 2015 says...

BMI. 18.05 barley normal.. .05 over minimum otherwise they would consider me underweight
Height. 5'4 1/4
Weight. 105.6
Blood pressure. 92/68
Hears beats per min. 72 beats

Can anybody help with any of this... and i haven't been eating good at all last few day's maybe one thing a day any advice or even someone who knows anything bout combining all three these would be awsome. Or is anybody else subscribed those? It would ease mind to know no serious affects should happen...I'm a big worrier please and thank you

http://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=2221-0,1606-976,1013-565 I'd talk to your doctor about it. SSRI (Lexapro) + SNRI (Tramadol) Doesn't seem like a nice mixture. While also adding in the wildcard of Methylphenidate. Talk to your doctor about it, and ask questions regarding this combinations of drugs would be my two cents here.

Thanks for your 2 cents lol I did more reading and it says mixing concerta (methylphenidate) or lexapro with tramadol is a very bad mix and can cause problems and even a rare disease (don't Remember what is was called or how to spell it)! Don't look like I'll be takin tramadol lol got a doc's appointment n 6 months maybe they will have some pain medicine that works and is safer for knees (arthritis) that they will give me.. but as a doctor I would think she would know this...so what about just the three the klonopin, concerta, and lexapro mixed? Cuz I gotta take 1 concerta and lexapro a day and 2 klonopins a day...... And sorry but Don't no what the SSRI and SNRI mean..
