Hi Folks,

So I've got this 2C-B Blotter (yeah i know this form of 2c-b is very uncommon but I find it very convenient to have 4.5mg blotters - easy to dose :)

so anyhow, I was at a party and by accident left my blotters on the fireplace mantlepiece. Its surface was quite hot (but nothing too hot to handle if you know what I mean ;) I guess the temperature was between 30 and 60 degrees Celsius. When I realised I left my precious blotters there I put them away immediately.

They feel very dry, but I gave one of them a lick and they're still really bitter. Does the bitternes indicate my 2C-b is still fine?

Here's the pic :) It is 18mgs square divided into 4 smaller 4.5mg hits

:) thats quite a nice picture of a bee!

well, they 'should' be ok, especially if they werent left for too long. the bitterness might indicate theres something still there, but not necesarily 2cb (my lsd blotters are also bitter, but because of the ink, so this may also be the case). theres only one way to find out for sure.....

Yes, they're fine. The 2C series is very stable, and a few hours exposure to warm, dry conditions is no problem at all.

I've had 2C-E on blotter. It was thicker than acid blotter, and it was a square of 4 for a dose, but it was legit.

Phenethylamines are use to be very stable, speciallt 2c-b.

Anyway you should -at least- test the material with a reagent. There is diffetent compositions that react with the different substances. They can give you a very light idea of what you are taking ;)

The 2Cs are generally quite stable, I think they should be fine. Me and a friend left aMT freebase near a fire for around 24 hours, and it was still very strong - despite tryptamines being much less stable than phenethylamines. So I think you'll be alright.

Just remember not to do that in future! ;)

a friend told me he has 2c-b blotters with a bee on it, also written "2C-B" on the backside (afair). is it confirmed that these contain 2c-b? i really didin't believe it, but then i saw this thread. does anyone have more information about this?

^That's not the topic of this thread, you are just trying to sneak a drug ID topic into another one, since they are not allowed. Anyone can buy blank blotters and put anything on them. It is 100% impossible to tell by asking what is in them over the internet, which should be totally obvious, so its a really dumb useless thing to ask.

Anyway this whole thread is idiotic. How the hell are we supposed to be able to tell if your fireplace-dried blotters are OK or not over the internet? Silly question. WAAAY too many variables. The easiest way to answer your own question OP is simple and obvious: TRY ONE! DUH!

Chemically speaking, if the substance was dry it will be completely fine. you would have to heat it past the melting point for a chemical reaction to occur at a noticeable level. For instance, burning but even then it is still possible to be smoked. So dont worry about it. trust me, im a chemist

For the OP, I'm sure the amount of 2C-B you removed with your test-lick was far more than the amount that got destroyed by heat. Eat and enjoy!

Bagseed, do you trust your friend? Has he consumed this batch? Does he claim to know the chemist who laid the blotter? Do you have experience with other 2C-X compounds? Be safe and if you choose to consume these unknown blotters, be aware that it could honestly be any drug at any random dose on there. I would suggest sticking with a trip sitter if you end up playing with such a blotter. Plan for the worst (like a 24 hour DOX trip) but keep the positive vibes flowing...

If you go in expecting a horrible trip, that's probably what you're going to get...
