Are goof balls a real drug?

What a ridiculous thread, lol. Goofballs for me and my friends always meant whatever the hell we were currently indulging in at the moment.

The only time I've ever heard 'goofballs' mentioned in the context of drug use was on The Simpsons.

I'm pretty sure it was in an episode around season five. Anyway, I think it was the episode when Homer and Flanders became best friends. Chief Wiggum pulls Flanders overs and accuses him of being 'hopped up on goofballs'. He makes Flanders do a sobriety test and halfway through, a bus full of church goers drivers past. Flanders is mortified so loses his shit and falls over. Wiggum arrests him and says 'goofballs, everybody, goofballs!'.

I haven't seen that episode for literally years so I might have some facts wrong. Whatever the case, Wiggum definitely accused Flanders of being 'hopped up on goofballs'. :D

If you're on goof balls aren't you usually hopped up on goof balls? I've never heard of someone just being on them.

LMAO, the origin of the thread. But I figured if the simpsons used the term it had some historical meaning. In which I found is not very clear by definition. One thing for sure is those purple hearts make me envy the past even more!

I've always heard the term used in mixing meth and heroin into a shot...similar to a speedball but switch the coke out to meth.

Same here i always hear people reffer to heroin and meth as goofballs and never heard a goofball heard to describe anything else till i read this thread lol.
