Misc Are darknet markets worth it?

Isn't it amazing that people seem to have forgotten that GCHQ are able to track every single internet transmission in the world using there two spoftware packages.

The former seems to track, the latter is more about spoofing and blocking.

Both have flaws but until there is a big enough bug bounty, I'm not about to tell anyone HOW to get around the latter.

It's the fact that those and a host of NSA projects were ALL made public and yet people honestly believe that the internet offers secure communication.

Many people use Telegram and I ask them what OS they run it on - because if the OS isn't secure, no app running on that OS is secure.

So I assume all telegram messages are watched. In fact, I bet the security services love it as they can track who downloads it.

Pencil, paper, envelope and stamp is good enough for most purposes. If you want more, use a book cypher. Book cyphers are old but are still considered secure as long as the specific book isn't identified (the key distribution problem).
 
There's little to no evidence that Tor is compromised. Even if it is, the police and NCA do not care about you buying <£100 of drugs. That's probably a lowball estimate, <£1000 is probably fine, but don't push your luck

Ross Ulbricht used the same alias on the clearweb as he did for his drug site

I don't know enough about hacking to confirm but I've heard that his website was poorly coded in PHP

The vast majority of sites that get closed down are because of exit scams not because the feds caught them

Yeah? What OS does your computer use? Is it secure? No, didn't think so. Keyloggers and screengrabbers are such small pieces of code, they are VERY easy to get onto someone's computer.

Supply-chain attacks mean updates of the OS can be 'modified'.

They caught a Russian spy a couple of years ago. Messages were hidden within images (stenography - banned in France) and an air-gapped laptop i.e. one that is never connected to any other device be it cable of Wi-Fi.

But I would argue pencil, paper, envelope & stamp is the best way to sent messages and book codes are still unbreakable as long as the book isn't identified. They can be, but it uses VAST resources so unless you are a terrorist, it's not likely the resources to crack a message ordering a few diazepam would be considered an optimum use of resources.

I presume my ENTIRE digital footprint can simply be extracted by Tempora in ohhh... call it 4-5 seconds.

But believe me - the laws surrounding opening letters is strong in almost every nation on earth. The funnies will do it, but the funnies don't have powers or arrest and the contents of an illegally opened letter cannot be used in evidence. Can you tell I've looked into this?

Nah, you get caught you get prosecuted. NEVER depend on a cop being "fair". I think the total cost of my drugs was estimated by cops at £118. 6 month court case and fined £800

The term 'Novel' is an immediate issue. IF a compound appeared in a paper or patent published before the act was passed in 2014, can a compound be said to be novel? The term 'Psychoactive' is also dubious given that even nutmeg is well known to be psychedelic in high enough doses. Yet nutmeg isn't controlled.

So it's only the word 'Act' that has any specific legal definition...

Was this operation ismene? The reason no-one could deny ordering those drugs is cos you paid with your credit card - the stupid site owner kept everyones card and address details. Nowadays its safer.

The site owner got 410 years in jail.

That sucks, but ordering from another country was probably a factor since you then also get done for importation

UK>UK is usually fine
