Are Bluelighters a freakishly beautiful collective?

I've always gone to a BL meetup with the thought firmly in the forefront of my mind that there are going to be a lot of people who use the internet a lot and therefore lower on the attractiveness scale.
I must say that idea is usually thrown out the window. Horray!
And am I the only person who got pleo's Marylin Manson's lyrics?
 
im old now.. but i was handsome once.

I never want to be good looking, the unessicary burden of constant grooming, showering, watching ones diet, wearing the correct clothes. Screw that shit, I am ghetto compton baby ;)

I think the majority of BL's are just good people, that's why all you guys rock !! Yes even you lurkers that don't post ;)

don't think 'freakishly beautiful' would be too accurate for any semi-random group of strangers on the net.
 
Come to think of it, from the people I have met; you all seem like a bunch of fine looking people.
I see a Psychology thesis sparkling distantly in the future............
 
Gotta remember Bunkum's desc. is only relevant to the Melbourne Kr3w and the 1 or 2 BL'ers that may have been down to a party she attended...

a few years back, when I tried to be a well informed, intelectually minded individual (it was a passing phase), i took an interest in the oh so enlightening program "media watch" (or was it backchat? meh, if you've seen it you'll know what i'm talking about).
anyhoo, they pointed out a story run by the most informative program known to australian television "a current affair" (yes, even more informative than "today tonight"... by the way, stan grant in now on cnn). the story was about how melbourne had the most attractive people in australia, and all melbournians went "yay we're sexy". they ran the same story in sydney, but changed the voice-over, so the story was now about sydney having the most attractive people in australia and all the sydney people went "yay, we're sexy". they did the same for brisbane, and the same for adelaide, except all the adelaide people went "nah, that can't be right..." (okay i made that last bit up).
okay now i've forgotten why i started writing this, but i don't think it's too far off topic...
 
global- I think thats what the story was about when john howard quoted that???? put im not 100% sure...

I have to admit I'm pretty hot. But most BLs I've met have been damn ugly! Maybe that's just cos they've been standing next to me... I'll have to check some out from a distance sometime
