Are all of my posts viewable, or do they get purged?

I was wondering if all of my posts are able to be seen through my profile. I was wondering because I clicked on a userame that had thousands of posts, and clicked "show all posts." It had 20 pages of their posts, which was not all of them.

Through your profile? No.

It will show the most recent 500 (20 pages of 25 posts).

If you use advanced search with your name in the 'user name' you are still limited to 500 returned posts from the search but you can go with ascending order or search within a specific forum to get older results.

Many posts do get purged over time in prunes and for other reasons.
