April 22nd, 1980

Yup today is my birthday -- yay me :|

Chocolate fudge cake, fudge frosting with strawberries.

Kids are making a smarties marble cake tonight :D

Going out in a minute for me time YAY!

<3 you all Bluelighters ...

I was born in '80 too! I think that was why I don't like the whole recurring 80s fashion; I was there to see it the first time, and thought it was ugly then too.

Happy One-Year-Closer-To-Your-Natural-Death Day! :)

OMG have you seen the summer clothes that are coming in now? Jelly Shoes, flowers in the shape of a peace sign.

Hippie clothes :| Are we in the 70s again?? :|

LOL 1980 births :D Do either of you remember Cabbage Patch Dolls? I always thought the darn things were creepy, but my mother insisted that we stand in line at the store. I'd have rather been reading in my magnolia tree. :D It always felt so contrived to do much else.

Hope you are stuffed full of delicious caek, ONCOR, remember that "forever young" is a state of mind. I love the long hippie skirts, but can understand that they aren't for everyone. Make your Dirty Thirties a good place for yourself and your family. It is a milestone that we have all made it this far. <3

Yeah I recall those horrid dolls, my grandmother kept buying them for me as a kid -- she never understood my tomboyishness. She was a traditional macedonian woman and I could be nothing but a girly girl. 8-)
They still sell those things too.
I am still such a kid -- I think I embarassed my daughter the other day when I picked her up from school LOL :p haha
We are in a great place right now, we are so happy and childish. I am only getting pissy because no one (kids included) likes to clean and my house ends up looks like a disaster area. So now I have to clean a whole house tomorrow. I did not budge on dishes though -- told my man he MUST do them or else.... LOL :|

my mom still has my cabbage patch dolls even though i told her she could get rid of them a long time ago lol

happy birthday! :)
