APPLES and how about them. (Theyre the shit!) Wats ur favorite variety(s) of apple?

^ :D

Lacey, I found the Pink Lady apples at an average supermarket (Fred Meyer). I had to hunt them down a little bit because they look a lot like other apples except a tiny bit pink on the outside. I found both conventional and organic. If you ask your produce manager, they should be able to point you in the right direction. I have also seen them at the farmer's market.

Only HONEY CRISPS for me

Excellent recommendation. :)

Tried a Honeycrisp today. I would best describe it as the firmness of a Granny Smith with the sweetness of, well, any sweeter variety of apple. I will be having the other(s) I bought with a strong Gouda cheese. I would not be surprised if I get through the two I have left quickly. Not pregnant myself. You aren't the only one - clearly!

I got them at an organic-only market, locally sourced. I would get these apples anywhere. The Pink Lady apples were juicy and delicious. The Honeycrisp variety has won me over completely. It is crisper and a little more tart without being too over-the-top.

NOM. :D

Lacey, if you have the time and you'll get up my butt (not literally) as far as exporting the apples to your state, glad to ask my grocer to send them to yours. I will be eating them ravenously until then. I like almost any variety of apple. I like these especially, and I think you would too. :)

For eating, Courtlands, for juice, Fujis, Fuji cider is orange coloured and totally different tasting. Damn I miss apples for some reason the only kind imported in the Philippines are Granny Smith which I love also.

yea i never heard of no pink lady apples before. Do they just sell them in the regular food store by yall?

I never seen them , at the orchard, farmers market, or grocery store. everybody keeps sayin them but I got no idea where or how to get them to try them.

I never heard of them before either, but they had em at my supermarket this past week on sale and I got some. They're crunchy and sweet! :)

This thread and the mentions of "pink lady" apples inspired me to buy some--They're a bit too firm for my liking, but delicious. :) Normally I get "fuji" apples (which are delicious btw), so it'll be nice to have something else to alternate with now.
