Apparent concern

I know, you're strong. At least we still have those choices. ;)

You're always being strong too. <3

It's always good to hear from you.

<3 Stay strong my friend. At the very least, we all got each other on here to relate to & share our struggles with. I've met some amazing people thanks to BL!

Until I can think of something then. lol. That cool. 🙌

I lost my suboxone doctor of a decade.
And the new place I was gonna do wants me to start over with peeing every 4 weeks, required NA classes & daily group meetings. I said fuck that.
I did not get to a point in bupe treatment where I only needed to see my doc every 12 weeks & do maybe 1 piss test a year, just to go all the way back to beginning & do NA classes & all that bullshit.

If I'm gonna pee every 4 weeks & do NA classes & bullshit, I'd rather be on a full agonist. Buprenorphine ain't worth all that trouble.

And my psyche is talking about taking me off my benzo. She's been pretty chill with it for years until suddenly she did a completely random blood draw on me today & I'm sure I had hydrocodone in my system. So now she'll probably definitely take away my benzo. I was so taken aback because they've never done a blood draw on me before. So out of all times to choose to do it, she just had to choose the day I took some hydrocodone.

I feel like I have zero agency over my own bodily autonomy in America. And I'm so sick of it.

I might as well go back to being an alcoholic or become a full blown meth head or fentanyl user (if I could even find fent). Cause clearly the healthcare industry only cares about punishing people & then cutting them off so that their lives are ruined.

Stop the lies about addiction

I wish someone had told me in my eighth grade fucking rehab that the problem is prison not “brain cells”

It's a sad state of affairs in the USA. I wish that they'd not overturned Roe vs Wade, because that could have been, at least theoretically, used to further emphasise and enforce the right to privacy.

Sadly, now that is gone, and women are once again relegated to 2nd class citizenship in many parts of the USA (arguably all of it, if you want to be technical about it), it appears there is no constitutional right to privacy, and according to the arguments in relation to that court matter, there never really was.

America...land of the free /S

Yep. Prison is very bad for one's mental health, and of course, does very little if anything to resolve the problem that the drug addict has founded their entire habit upon. Relationship problems, ongoing fights with parents, bullying, etc, are not going to be fixed by prison time. In fact, if anything they will be made much worse, and when the person comes out of prison they will want to enact some kind of "reprisal" against the very society that threw them under the bus. So these people keep offending, right up to the point of murder and other serious crimes, all because a society decided to treat them as lesser beings.

It still makes no sense to me why I decided to risk prison for weed when I was 13, I do know drug laws are wrong
