I had surgery about 6 weeks ago. Have a script for 90 of 10/650 percocet to take 4 times daily. That is a lot of APAP per day, imo. I also have a script for Clonazepam to take twice daily.
This past week (For the males out there, don't read any further if female stuff offends you. =P) I've been on my period. I also have ALOT of bruises on my upper thighs and a few on the back of my lower thighs. I know HOW I got the bruises (dogs jumping on me, sitting in a hard chair for a long time) but such activities never caused bruises before.
My question is, could the APAP I've been taking with the percocet for pain be the cause of the bruising? IE, could it have damaged my liver so much its causing me to bruise easily? I've taken the clonazepam for months with no bruising, so I know it isn't that. I take Tramadol occasionally when I want the percs to have more effect and take that for a few days and don't take the percs. Sooo...not to be a stupid noob, but bruising. Just hormones or possible liver damage from the APAP in my percs? The percs were doctor prescribed, so I figured he'd know what he's doing, but he is very old and possibly senile.
