Anything to help with opiate itch?

I havent taken hydrocodone in 2 months, after I litterally wouldn't feel ANYTHING on 50mg. It was annoying as I only do hydrocodone once every month or so, so I took a couple months off.

Too my surprise I was able to feel a very nice buzz off 45, mixed with indica weed. Feeling like a million bucks

The thing is, I havent litterally itched this bad in YEARS. I am no newbie to opiates, and itching never bothered me, but I cant even put into words how much im itching. Every single part of my body is one giant itch; It is fucking rediculous!

I never really got itches, well ever, this bad so it never bothed me but this is crazy...it doesn't bother me too much as im just glad to feel a buzz, but was wondering if anyone knew something to help calm the itching (shower or something?)

Diphenhydramine.......takes care of it.

Would claritin work?

Diph usually makes me really tired and strange. Not a big fan.

Diphenhydramine also potentiates the hydrocodone and makes the effects stronger, so be careful taking any of the sedating antihistamines with opioids (their fine to take together as long as you're mindful of your opioid dosage and modulate it downward as needed!)

I don't know how loratadine would work with an opioid (never tried it myself) but I've had a small dose of chlorpheniramine several times and it worked well. Boosted the hydrocodone effects without nearly as much sedation as diphenhydramine. A common chlorpheniramine brand is Chlor-Trimeton.

why? the itch was one of my favorite parts of opiates.. i wish i still got the itch

I like the itch, but was in a situation where I could not be itching so fucking much.

Seriously, I cant believe how much I felt that hydrocodone earlier. Itchy fuckin heavon. I just rode it out.

Not itching anymore, just stoned.

Hydrocondone generally last about 4 hours for everyone here?? Thats about for me. Wish it lasted longer.
