Stimulants Anything like Speed without insomnia and hangover?

FYI, taking chelated magnesium and maintaining proper diet and hydration with amphetamines drastically reduces negative symptoms.
chelated magnesium eh? i see it recommended everywhere. would it be good for other uppers too?

MPH makes my heart rate skyrocket
Strange, I've found methylphenidate to have much less peripheral effects than any other stimulant. Different biochemistry?
Is dexMPH less tweaky feeeling?
I'd argue it's an improvement. Hasn't been compared head to head with racemic methylphenidate in a study AFAIK. Might not like it if plain Ritalin does that too you, some do like it better.

I think they both suck, focalin was not much of an improvement of Ritalin.

In regards to methylphenidate, I consider it a crappy cocaine - still got a comedown...
I'm surprised so many hate it. IMHO it's easily up there with cocaine and amphetamines. Racemic does take some getting use to for me. Wish it appeared clandestinely, too hard though. Only downside is it's much shorter acting than amphetamines, though that could be a good thing.

You don't know shitty stimulants till you've tried phentermine. God awful, couldn't pay me to take it. Ritalin's a thousand times better. Why don't Ritalin and PCP get much love:(?

I've got to try this chelated magnesium shit though.

This is what I've heard from "old school" motorheads - powerful, clean central stimulation like dextro- or methamphetamine, with negligible peripheral stimulation and physical side effects.
Fuck it sounds like the perfect upper if all that shit's true. Please cooks, stop making shake n' bake or "base" speed and make this shit! It's on my list of drugs to take before I die, like methaqualone and ketobemidone(most addictive opioid ever made!).

In my opinion, the best stimulant with the mildest form of insomnia and decreased appetite is ethylphenidate. The crash though is still pretty bad, but less than other stimulants.

EDIT: And yes, cocaine is also a pretty hangover-free stimulant. But I still get slight insomnia from it, never experienced a crash on cocaine.

^So true, though the long numbness sounds like it was cut with other 'caines. Still probably better than the average shit in North America or Europe. Better than having it cut with levaminsole, caffeine, and God knows what with cocamine/cinnamylcoke impurities.

I find methylphenidate to have rather pronounced peripheral effects... About on par with cocaine, more than amphetamine, and more than methamphetamine (at low doses, which is fucking impossible to do).

Damn right. Gotta see if a chemist a friend of a friend knows could be coaxed into firing up a batch... Probably dreaming though. Maybe I can tell him he can still sell it as ordinary crank and people will be delighted... Although it is less potent by weight than amphetamine apparently.

You could try Concerta/Ritalin (Methylphenidate). Sure it's not the same as Adderal/Vyvanse (dexro/lisdextro amphetamine) but it really did help improve concentration and focus. Downside of it was, and why I hated it was that I was honestly nodding off all day. I drank two Mtn Dews but still I couldn't help falling asleep in class. Speed is great for making you passionate about everything, and I like to think the slight euphoria and speediness from amps makes you doubly passionate. But on Concerta I didn't have that neediness to be doing something useful that you get on speed. I get so passionate about things on amps I've three times really really pissed off my friend so that he refuses to talk to me for a week because all I want to do is my homework and personal research instead of talk or skip class. That was completely non-existant with my Methylphenidate experience but I only took one pill on Concerta. I would get work done faster and be more meticulous but it really doesn't have that stimulant feel that speed does. But, there was no comedown for me, I'm not sure for higher doses though.

Most recommendations are terrible in this thread. Tricombs first recommendation of LOW DOSE methamp is probably the best as far as real drugs go... IF you can keep the dose low maby you won't have any major side effects.
Yes, clean coke doesn't have a bad comedown for many of us, but is apparently hard to come by now days isn't it? Considering the vast vast majority of street coke has levamisole in it, and the even wose stuff has that levamisole+whatever other nasty shit some idiot low down dealer could put in (if you don't have a good hook that is. And even if you do, lets go back to mentioning levamisole...).

MPH imo is a terrible recommendation.
I'd say that proper diet (meaning eating MORE than you normally would while having a healthy sober day), lots of sleep, and some supplements around would be your best bet as far as minimizing negative effects if you do use meth or something along those lines. But better yet, look into the supplements I mentioned before if you're looking to avoid those side effects you mentioned.. And better yet, do that and exercise in several ways and you'll notice an improved mental state all the time.

All stims will give you insomnia and a crash. Sorry. Closest thing is (very) low dose 2C-X which gives a light amphetamine type effect, which lasts a long time and doesn't have a crash, but tolerance builds rapidly, and also 2Cs are illegal now, and therefore harder to find. Also, it's a psych, and even though it's low dose, it can still have adverse reactions with some people who are sensitive to their effects. I don't recommend this.
