Opioids Anyone Still Growing Poppies or Making Tea?

Excuse my ignorance, are poppy pods legal in Canada? Doesn't it raise a red flag if you're buying unwashed pods by the kilogram? Would love to try a nice tea.

Hell no they're not legal. I think there was always some loophole about using them for "decorative purposes" but I believe the US and Canada laws state that poppy pods are illegal to grow or possess, only seeds being exempt.

If you're buying them for consumption or refining into opioids, any part except seeds of the P. somniferum poppy plant is illegal in most first world countries... pods, straw, etc. And technically if you made seed tea and it had morphine in detectable amounts, that would be illegal too.

Been using pods daily for about 7 months now. Was desperate after my suboxone hookup ended, and remembered about poppy pods. Surprisingly wasnt hard to find. They are quite expensive, although they are cheaper and much stronger than a hydrocodone habit which is the only other opiate i have access to now. Alot better than hydrocodone as well because I only have to dose once a day. I was getting extremely high when I first started using them, nodding and extremely itchy for 12 hours and well for 24. Don't get that anymore though...if I take enough to nod it would make me really naseous as well. I do definately still get a nice buzz at least though

Also I've switched from tea making to "slurries". Grind them up into a super fine powder and mix with grapefruit juice and down it. Not very appetizing at all, but is much more efficient than tea. No loss of alkaloids.

Personally I haven't noticed much difference between tea and slurry, when doing 2 washes for tea. Easy way to test it is to do a third wash and see if it's active, which mine never were. I'm not sure why but I actually found sometimes I'd get less of a high with the slurry method, and tea is definitely easier on your stomach than slurry IMO.

Damn, I really wish I was on some pods and not Suboxone right now.

Yeah, tea is much smoother on the stomach. I can gulp down tea no problem, gotta go slow with the slurry though. Strange though that you found tea stronger than slurry, I've never experienced that. The come up on slurry is slower and more gradual than tea for me, but once it peaks it is noticeably stronger IME. Lasts a bit longet too. I always did two washes as well. Much less effort too...god I use to hate making all those dirty dishes lol

If I ever go back on pods I'll give the slurry method another shot, maybe I just wasn't getting them powdered enough. I would always have some woody bits and shit that would make me gag, and with it feeling weaker I just stayed with tea.
