Anyone seen methamphetamine in the UK/Europe?

Meth lasts 12 hours though man. A gram of drone doesnt go anywhere nearly as far as even 0.2 of meth. And it was a bluelighter I was speaking to from Sydney who mentioned that price. It was definately still being sold for more than that though.

meth shards (ice) cost $50AU so about 25 pounds for 1 point. 1 point would last easily all night. cheaper meth (base) about $15AU 7 pound for a point and about 2 points last afew hours

i wonder how they caught him? ordering large amounts of watched chemicals?, funnky chemical smells coming from his house?

from the bullshit i keep reading in the papers, with a GCSE in science and some ingredients from the corner shop anyone can make meth so where the fuck is it ??!

for the chemists: in the UK is it feasible that any tom, dick or harry could manufacture meth from readily obtainable precursors and standard kitchenware, or are we talking more along the lines of needing a degree in chemistry, banned precursors and expensive and hard to source glassware.
 
I don't think it's that hard at all. Ephedrine is easy to acquire. The red phosphorus is the one that would raise eyebrows.

Think it probably depends on what kind of purity you're after in the final product, pretty sure you can get most stuff you need from hardware stores etc.

RP is seemingly available, and not officially watched in the UK.. but who knows what they unofficially keep a beady eye on... =D
 
The police are (sadly, as I would love to try methamphetamine, for me it is the god of stimulants) seemingly well prepared for this. Several of those famous meth lab factories have been destroyed before they could get into widespread production - I think in some little village called Stoney Middleton and quite a large amount on the Isle of Wight.
We've obviously been liasing with our American cousins and so know what to look for, basically preventative measures have been taken. Kudos to them in all fairness, as crystalmeth has never been big here despite being easy to produce.

I believe it is - the meth labs are usually very amateur. There's guides online, too. I've found a couple. I've even been half-tempted sometimes to try my hand, but it can be really dangerous and you really need to live alone (or with someone who is willing to put your health and your house in danger for the promise of a super addictive and illegal drug).

On your point about how did they find that guy in Kent, what do you think of this one - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/north_east/8151207.stm - they even declare the guy was not planning to sell it, and it was only for personal use. Somehow they found him and he got four years. By the looks of things the only evidence they had was suspiciously large online orders; worrying if that's how they got him. Police state or what? Pricks.

I remember looking into this once, finding a synth (not the urban myth Vicks inhaler one - I seem to remember there being mention of the lithium strip from an Energiser battery), then realising it was a bit too laborious and deciding on methcathinone instead. I remember methcathinone was ridiculously easy, even for a complete novice, but the smell of the process was pretty hideous. So yeah, if you have good sources for precursors and if your neighbours are either non-existent or have a thing for the reek of ammonia etc., then I imagine it'd be a pretty profitable exercise. Especially given the state of some of the speed out there.

Erm... and if any bright spark thinks of flooding the market with methcathinone, please don't. I think the UK has had enough cathinones recently.

i normally buy 0.5 grams of crystal meth. on a binge can last me 4 - 5 days

Why the fuck do you want to do crystal meth? Do you want to stay awake for days on end, and gurn more than you've ever gurned in your life?

Crystal meth is d-methamphetamine HCl strictly. What you got seems to be racemic/d,l-methamphetamine HCl, which cannot be crystallized. But your gear didn't get any darker when you melted it so it clearly isn't cut with any sugar. I envy you for having such high quality speed. :) People experienced with both the racemate and dextromethamphetamine often state that the rush from the racemate is superior to d-isomer meth when being injected. But of course d-meth is twice as potent by weight.
