Anyone seen methamphetamine in the UK/Europe?

100 quid a gram? they're getting ripped off, no way has the price of meth gone up that much - it's insanely easy to make...4 years ago when my mate was doing it alot - she got it at 40 quid a gram or 20/26 on the half.
 
as said before it's rare enough not to have a fixed street price, it's a novelty still.
 
what do you mean by hard drugs? the crack/smack crowd here are not familiar with it at all. it's certainly rarer than 2cb et al anyway here.
 
Definitely a rarity, in my book or rarities. I happened to HAPPEN across it years ago before all the hype and bullshit and I recall many speed-demons not being too impressed with it cos it was a i it bit too potent and long-lasting for some tastes - too easy to go loop-de-loo on. Seems kinda bizarre now but I got most of what was going cos there was only three of four of us that I knew that ever got a taste for it. - literally couldn't give the stuff away. Not that I tried too hard, mind :D

Kinda makes me wonder how much of the attraction - not to mention the instaddiction for anyone who so much as sits too close to someone who's used it recently - is pure fantasy foisted on is by American Frank, co she wasn't such a devil when I knew her. Somewhat moreish for those who do get the taste though 8o8):D
 
wow that's mad..I know where to find meth in every city I've spent more than 3 days in...and I've only tried the stuff once... :\

I wanna try it properly - might seek it before summer - just get a half gram (don't bang ANYTHING so should be OK) and make it a binge one time only thing.

I'm working my way out of an addictive personality (in the past - booze n women), so I won't be making a habit of it.

no offence but thats big bull shit. i no people from all types of diffrent scenes from all over the country and i dont no any one that can get hold of meth. people that are fully in to smack and crack (hard drugs) cant get it that i no of.
its certainly not easy to find even if you seek hard for it.

about 4 years ago i coud get it from one bloke that sold basically pure amphetamine, but no one wanted the meth so he stoped getting it. i havnt seen it since.
 
not bullshit...I wouldn't be bullshitting - there's no point in bullshitting...I can make a few phone calls and get meth if I wanted much easier than MDMA at the mo *cries* not even funny...

Sorry I meant "heroin, speed and coke/crack" in the context of "hard drugs". Should've been more clear.

Have to agree that sounds like rubbish to me. How many cities have you been to? Without knowing anyone in a city your chances of finding meth in any UK cities is probably zero.

Maybe you can get it but its certainly nowhere near as available as you make out. Your average crack or smack dealer doesn't have much chance of scoring you meth IMO. Most of the people I know who have tried it have had it through people who are involved in the amphetamine scene.
 
Here in Kiwiland it's not uncommon to meet people who have at least tried methamphetamine or even been hooked. Interesting enough, it get's no raving reports from first time users, even considering we are a speed naive country. Not much of it around at all really and the speed that is around, is most likely to be very cut meth or even just plain old ephedrine. Meth is our crack, since cocaine is as rare as hens teeth. Unfortunately meth is no safer than base cocaine, even worse I believe, so I'm pretty glad to read it hasn't become popular in the UK.

Meth is a great hit for media attention, it's the drug the creates a convenient escape goat for many of our gang related misfortune. Beyond media hype, the word on the street here is that it's simply bad shit. Take our advice and stay away. :)

OK yeah it's hard to get - but I've never bought the stuff ever, and as soon as I moved to ********borough, I was able to purchase some within a few weeks if I'd wanted to...yes through the amphetamine scene, but seeing as I'm not "part of the amphetamine scene", this would suggest it's not as rare as everyone thinks...seek and you shall find!

Also yeah, admittedly the number of UK cities I've spent more than 3 days in is only 5-6, but again seeing as I've never touched amphetamines of any kind more than once (not including bunk E's), that's pretty good going I think to be able to source meth...just saying. :\ don't be hating haha.

If ya do want to find meth in London I would suggest the punk scene, or the Industrial scene as a good place to start.

Yes it is/was.

I do not know what happened to it. It was met with a lot of annoyance, threats and disdain from the existing three sex shops in Darlo. Not sure if it's still there or not. It's been a while since I've been to Darlington. I was only there six months doing a Journalism course after Uni.

So basically your saying the last few posts have been totally exaggerating how easy it is to find :D You've also gone from saying it was through the crack/smack scene, now your saying it was through the amphet scene.

I never said it was "part of the amphetamine scene" at all, I said through people involved in it. And is still very rare in the uk.

I thought you were saying it was easy to find? And so are you saying this was the case in 5-6 cities?

Sorry but most of what you've said is a confusing and misleading at best.
 
Methamphetamine these days is a rare rare find in the UK.

I have only found it ONCE in the UK and that was a result of it being sent from Amsterdam, where I was living at the time, to somewhere here and I picked it up when I was over for Christmas.

I'd quite like some though.
