I noticed they're are gonna be in my area towards the end of the month and wondered what their set was like. Did they play primarily newer stuff or more of their older stuff?

I didn't see them this time round, but this is what a friend of mine said about the melb show on the 6th:

I can't remember everything they played, but I know they started off with "Poquito Mas", slid in to "Cities of the Future" and then "Sa'eed". They covered "Smashing The Opponent", "Can't Stop", "Killing Time", "Franks" and "Slowly" from Shawarma, but surprisingly didn't play "The Legend of the Black Shawarma" itself. They played the build-up from "Vicious Delicious" (AAHHH!!! AHHHHH!!!! I may or may not have danced like an absolutely fucking insane man), "Becoming Insane" (whereupon I got to watch my friend go "AAHHH!!! AHHHHHH!!!!" and she may or may not have danced like a similarly insane woman), and maybe one or two others I can't recall from Vicious Delicious. There was at least two tracks I didn't fully recognise. "Deeply Disturbed" and "Muse breako RMX" was in there too somewhere. Then for their encore, they came back and broke in to "Bust A Move" (whereupon ALL of us danced like insane people), one song I can't remember and finished up with "Special Place" from Vicious.

I saw them at summadayze in adelaide on NYD and they played a similar set to the one above, but shorter. I remember Cities of the Future, Sa'eed, Muse Breaks RMX, and Special Place. There were also a couple others I don't remember. Finale was Becoming Insane.

So yeah, they did play some new stuff but also a good share of favourites. Worth seeing if you're an IM fan imo :D

God damn it! I had a chance to see them but assumed they'd be crap judging by how they've been slowly slipping over the years. It sounds like I would have enjoyed that :\

I saw the very end of their set at summafieldayze, wasn't too bad, they played becoming insane and another song from around the viscious delicious era i think? At that point in the day they had the biggest crowd out of all of the stages at the festival, the audience seemed to love them! :)
