Anyone ruin a good opiate buzz by smoking reefer?

Seems to me that when I take my desired amount, get good and fuzzy -smoking weed completely destroys the opiate buzz and weed takes over. Anyone tend to shed some light on this?
 
Yeah, if you are not a regular weed smoker or you are sensitive to the effects, it can way overpower the opiate high and ruin it. Also if you are liable to get anxiety from weed then it can ruin an opiate high completely when you smoke too much. Alcohol also tends to cause a blunt to my opiate highs, but at least it doesn't put me on edge and ruin it completely, just need to keep things in moderation.
 
Since my weed tolerance is so high, it really has no negative effects of that nature. It greatly enhances the opiate high for me. You should try taking a single hit or 2, depending on the quality. If you smoke way more than you can handle, anxiety attacks will overpower the buzz or fun of almost any other drug.
 
I really like the combination but it's gotta be a high heroin/marijuana ratio. If I smoke too much bud it just gets to be too much of a weed high. I prefer straight heroin though. Not a mix kinda guy.
 
I will say a mix of benzos and weed between short-acting opiate doses will help me conserve the opiates. When I start craving again just pop a xanny, smoke a couple hits and maybe take a nap once the weed wears off. Doesn't work with just the weed for me, because if I get too high I get anxiety and need to do some of the opiate to calm down. Not exactly a strategy an opiate addict wants to use everyday or before you know it you have a benzo habit on your hands as well.

Yes. I abhor weed. It gives me nothing but anxiety and dread. And it also destorys the effect of opioids -- and other -- drugs. I wouldn't smoke the stuff if you paid me. Hate it. Doesn't seem to potentiate any other drugs, at least in my experiences.
 
the only one opiate i've ever taken was methadone once. on the comeup, it somewhat helped the drug kick in (i was feeling just some vague sense of warmth and relaxation an being stoned eightened it) but when I was fully high smoking made me anxious for a bit and kinda ruined it. smoking a cigarette was pure bliss though
 
Shit, I think the most euphoric I ever felt was on hydrocodone and weed. I did have a panic attack but after that I felt gooood. lol
 
I can't say that I've ever had weed ruin a good opiate high but I sure as hell can't say the same about benzos. Benzos have to be the worst opioid "potentiator" of all time, IMO.

QFT. Benzos just dull the opiate high, I don't understand why so many people seem to enjoy the combination. When I was addicted to both I'd avoid taking them at the same time because then I would feel neither.

Same thing here. I never smoke weed if I'm doing some opiates. Seems like a total waste.
