Anyone like hardcore?

I think it's pretty lame. I was more of a metal man myself back in high school.

Hardcore is still my life!!!...16 yrs after gettin into it. From Bad brains and Minor threat, to Madball and 25 Ta life, to Hatebreed and Full blown Chaos. Gets me through the day, gets me pumped to ski and ride my bike, motivates me to stay vegetarian and positive, in this often shitty world...Right now I'm really digging Stick To Your Guns. And I'm going to see The Warriors in Vancouver in six days!!!

into a fair chunk of 80s stuff not really into too many of the current 'hardcore' bands

i like hardcore where the people shave their heads and beat the shit out of each other, i hate hardcore involving comb overs, make up, womens clothes, and shrieking like a women (basically dudes pretending to be bitches.)

basically the shit this dude likes (see my previous post.)

Quite frankly I'm not sure how one classifies certain bands as "hardcore" or "death metal" but Winds of Plague fucking shred, been listening to them alot lately

Winds of Plague is more deathcore (death metal growls, and riffs) but they are all into hardcore which really seems to comes through in their sound. Bands in the same sort of genre to check out are All Shall Perish (awaken the dreamers..Sick album) or old Emmure (Goodbye to the gallows) or The Acacia strain. Hard...Death...Metal core, despite the trends, and the lame faggy scene kids, I love all that shit, and when this hair flipping tight jean wearing wannabe hardcore dancer trend ends, The real people will still be in it, and all these labels won't matter...Keep It Real...Strength through Unity.... End reminiscence on the old days....

<--- the hardest of the hardcore

If you mean Anime Fire, yeah I had a period where I loved them. Awesome band.

they are pretty good, though i only have one 5 track EP by them, i still dig. they have some big footsteps to fill in the wake of iktpq and parkway drive, etc.

but @op see the crabcore thread.
