I am going to a try a few different things definitely now. Thanks for the input. I just finished doing my first experiment. I decided to try some iso hash first as I like extractions, have 99% Isopropyl alcohol readily available and can freely use my house at any time to do anything "drug" related. Its actually funny how I did it but it worked WELL. I filled up a sold-in-stores "Starbucks Frappuccino" glass bottle up with about 1.5 ounces of dry, cold, completely powdered trim, flower residue and a minimal amount of stems. I was surprised i was able to fit that much plant material in an 8-10 ounce bottle. I then added enough isopropyl alcohol to just cover the green and shook and stirred the the mixture for two hours. Dextroamphetamine helped speed up and improve this proccess (it was in my body, not the mixture, though). I used just enough alcohol to, once the mix settled, leave about a quarter to a half an inch of just alcohol on top. Then, a tube-sock was place over the bottle with the cap off. Then, using a 6-cup pyrex baking dish to catch the filtered solution, the alcohol was slowly poured through the sock -- which should, at first, be stretched tightly over the opening of the Starbucks bottle -- or whatever bottle. Then the bottle with the sock covering the opening is inverted over the pyrex dish and the the extract is allowed to filter through the make-shift cotton screen. After all possible liquid is drained into the pyrex dish using this first step, I slowly tapped the top of the glass bottle for several minutes until the end of the tube sock (maybe from the toe area half-way to the heel) contained all of the plant material. Then, wearing clean, rubber gloves, the mass of plant matter in the tube-sock was thoroughly squeezed (just like wringing out a towel or cloth) over the pyrex dish until no more liquid was obtainable. What is the best way to evaporate the alcohol? I have done much research and a lot of people seem to obtain an oil as a final product. How can I, if possible, produce a final product that is more similar to kief (white hash) and not hash oil. I assume that the final product, in either form, is still white hash, as it is from residual kief on the plant material? Am I correct? Can someone maybe explain the difference between some different forms of hash? I have been smoking weed multiple times a week, and, more often than not, multiple times a day, for years, but have almost NO experience with hash!
