Anyone know about the tenderloin open air markets?

Just curious since I'll be in the San Fran area and I've always been curious about open air markets and if it really is just so easy as to walk around the right area there (note I'm not saying where it's like 15 blocks so this is not really sourcing but if it's inappropriate just close it)

Though I dont know if I actually go I'd expect nothing but getting ripped off being a skinny white blonde chick. Maybe not tho... Anyone have any experiences (without exact locations obv) of copping there?
 
This is pretty close to sourcing..but you are also asking a general question about the open air markets. This isn't appropriate for Other Drugs anyway. I'm going to move it to the appropriate regional forum but it may end up just getting closed.
 
I would be very careful if you go alone being a skinny white chick. I have never been there.
 
Haha. I'm a skinny brunette chick, and I got mostly ignored. Only been ripped off once. People are wary of skinny white chicks for some reason. Also, I went by myself, and I felt perfectly safe, although I don't know if that is still the case. Most people thought I was a hooker, and offered me food and money. I wasn't hungry and had plenty of money, and don't think I look at all like a pro. 8)

It's really not that sketchy of a district ...during the day.. I'll find my way. I got street smarts lol. I'm wandering there Tomoro when the done clinics open.
A guide to copping there was posted on opiophile and everyone who tried it cold except one dude managed it. So maybe it's a bad idea but itll bs an experience either way
 
THE TL. Is a trip. AKA Pill Hill blocks from a police station, I was scared the few times that I did it. Got to have the right look, otherwise they will think your a PIG. I haven't walked the streets there in a year or two but still go up there to meet my friend that I made up there. Depends on what your looking for different areas for different things.

Watch out for UC's they have them all over, also they jump out of vans, ride dirt bikes, dress as homeless but they still out still they can't nail down the real homeless theme.
 
i am a skinny asian chick and have had no problems cold copping there from 2000-2010. I often had to show track marks to prove I wasnt a cop. Know prices b4 hand. i used to hang out inside the hotels getting high for days... my doc was crack and h there. pills arent really worth it.

best thing to do is make friends, then it's like u owe the place and can get bulk deals and get hooked up for guarding gear & money.
 
Is the Tenderloin District where that documentary 'The Dark End Of The Street' was filmed years ago?
Really thought that was a very interesting programme,felt so sad for one of the girls who ended up dying I think.
