Anyone have thoughts on Seroquel?

Exactly... if you take seroquel, you can forget about doing almost any stimulant.

Fortunately my night dose wears off by about midday, leaving me the afternoon and evening to get high. ;)

Very true, seroquel does have an effect on the 'euphoria' of many types of drugs. However it is an anti-psychotic and is meant for the treatment of mental health disorders. There are better meds to use if you need to 'come down'.

Using seroquel for minor sleep issues or a 'convience' drug for sleep is like saying salvia is like pot. I was told that when I first smoked it, lol, before I did research online about EVERYTHING pharmaceutical and illicit I could get my hands on. Gotta love having a access to a good universities publications.

Seroquel is often prescribed off-label to treat insomnia, as it is in my case.

The advantage it has over benzos is that it's non-addictive and tolerance doesn't grow as fast.

Are you sure the only thing your suffering from is Insomnia? Typically Ambien and at most Lunesta are all people need to help out with sleep issues. I take it you've already run through the gambit of benzoes. Have you tried Ramelteon (aka Rozerem) and a 3mg melatonin supplement at night for sleep? After I get my medical coverage back I'm going to try that out again. I've found that it's more important to treat my daytime symptoms and over time my sleep comes back naturally if my daylife stress is under control.
