hey,
so after doing lsd once a few months back it has basically changed my whole life. like i can just see life for what it is and not what i thought it was. i cant stand watching movies or tv any more because they are just actors in front of a camera, i can tell when people lie straight away, i am not interested in the things i used to like doing, money has no importance to me and neither do the things it can buy, i see no point in going to work every day, i can see how f*cked up the world is and the path that humanity is going down, conspiracies make sense to me, i got in a huge fight on facebook because i tried to tell everyone that the show "big brother" isnt as real as people think it is and i even ended up deleting facebook because i think its taking over peoples lives... my parents think i have gone crazy and saying they are going to send me to a psychiatrist. lots more different things that i cant think of at the moment aswel but does this happen to other people? or should i go see the psychiatrist? all help would be lovely thanks :)

No I have not. Although I can sort of relate to the TV thing. When I watch TV when I'm coming down from psys and can't sleep, and I'm watching the morning news on TV, I can't help but laugh at how fake all the presenters look and are acting. If anything, my whole drug experience has changed my outlook on life, and thankfully I'd say in a positive way so far, but never to such a drastic extent. I think a lot of people get what you get on psys, and it wears off eventually.

But if this outlook is working for you in life and what makes you happy, then I'd say go for it, forget about what anyone else says, it's your life. I just wouldn't be concerned unless you feel the effects of the drug start having a negative impact on your life. I actually agree with a lot of things you're saying, although I'd probably be more... 'accepting' of other people's opinions on stuff like that. Oh yeah but I'm not big on conspiracies lol.

Lots of people have life-changing experiences on acid. It's just so good!

You are most definitely not crazy, so avoid the psychiatrist at all costs, they would not understand.
You are beginning to see past the brainwashing, and see life for what it really is, and while that is an incredibly rare thing it is not so rare amongst psychedelic users. I went though the same thing a while ago.
It is when you try to explain such things to people that haven't realized them for themselves, then it is much harder for them to grasp as they haven't came to the same conclusions as you.

Try to find someone irl that understands and is able to relate, it makes all the difference.

Indeed, like above, you are not crazy.

Other people (and I give them credit), call this what you're experiencing "the dark night of the soul". It's a poem by a 16th century saint, st john of the cross.
Mine has been going on for a few years now, with temporary recoveries inbetween. For me, it's about implementing what the (psychedelic) experience teached you in your own life.
For me, not going to work is not the right move. Also, the path of humanity is going down, if you're looking from the Ego's point of view.
What psychedelics did was give me another point of view (or bring it out more obviously). I call it "the Witness" or "the Soul" (they're not really the same but that's not really an issue in this discussion). It's who I really am. This Ego is just an illusion I use to get free.

After falling down the rabbit hole, through the looking glass, must inevitably come despair. This brings you closer to "it".
"It" can be "God", "the One", "realization about Life", but I can't say what it is for you. "You have to see it for yourself" said Morpheus.

I love watching TV on the comedown. I mean, things like the Matrix, Twin Peaks, LOST, Northern Exposure. Not like the news or anything. :)
Watching Twin Peaks on mushrooms made me realize David Lynch "Knows" what Life is about. When I watch it, I don't see actors. I see personality traits of myself in every character.

does this happen to other people

Yes. In fact a good number of us got into psychedelics in the first place looking for this outcome. Yes it has its difficulties, the wise rabbis warned us plenty about the unprepared dabbling in mysticism (then again, who read the thousand year old works of Jewish mystics before getting in too deep?).

conspiracies make sense to me,

If you mean the appeal of conspiracies, and the thought-spaces behind them make sense to you, then I'd say you've gained perspective to your benefit. I took a class on conspiracy theory during my brief sojourn in university, and there is a heck of a lot of sanity and intelligence that go into developing and propagating these things, it's very human, even if it departs from socially normative thought. If you mean that you are starting to believe in them, then it's time to take a step back and engage in critical thinking.

In any case, you seem to be of sound mind, and while you may be going through a difficult transitional phase, there is probably no reason to seek medical professionals to try to make you unsee what you have seen (which won't help and will likely give you a real problem).

i even ended up deleting facebook because i think its taking over peoples lives

I quit social media recently as well. Not so much because I see it as causing other people problems, but because I saw it as useless or potentially detrimental to my self.

wow first forum where nobody has called me an idiot yet, thank you all for the comments. i dont mind this new way of how i think, feels like a weight has been lifted off my back now and i can see the world around me alot clearer.

Question: OP How are you going to pay for any future drug ingestion? Of course "reality TV" is a pile of shit. Try me I'm a fucking psych trained professional. I think your missing the key point here, your own existence and method of self reliance. Did your parents pay for your LSD experience? You have two options: accept that reality is a harsh environment and yes a lot of it is BS but the bane of our existence is capitalism and the almighty dollar. Option two drop out of life move to a commune and practice perma-culture.

My second series of questions: ever had to grow your own food? Ever had oranges only for a few months of the year as you have to grow them yourself and they are two expensive to be transported to your location. Same for most staples. Ever had to butcher an animal to eat and cook it? Catch fish, clean and cook them as they are not sold in the supermarket? Ever had to grow your own weed as there is no regular supply of bud and even if you have cash due to it's seasonal nature, unless you have grown, cured and stored your own bud there is none available? Shit have any of you?

I have. I also work and have integrated into mainland society, indeed I have a degree. I have experienced both ends of the spectrum and made my decision. The choice is yours revelation or not reality is a fucking harsh mistress and you my friend will get a serious dose of it unless you make a decision. If you think that LSD experience provided you with some exceptional or special insight you have not truly had to live by providing for yourself. Of course society is BS and TV is crap but try existing outside of mainstream society and without the dole and then tell me all about it.

I'm not calling you an idiot in any way but I question your life experience and resolve if you chose the alternative life style option of self reliance in a totally non dole supported lifestyle. Most hippies in communes still claim some kind of social support from the government. Trust me both conforming or alternative lifestyles are challenging and rewarding. Theoretical mysticism will not provide food on the table. Our ancestors lived off the land but I can guarantee they had no TV or internet. Another side note: my ancestors practiced cannibalism...

i hope you dont normally tell people that straight away...

First off, I'd like to say congratulations to the OP for finally fully opening their eyes and seeing what life truly is. No my friend, as bizarre as it may seem, you are not at all the crazy one............as a matter of fact, in my personal opinion - people who do psychedelics tend to be MAY more in touch with reality than your average human being. Your average American seriously is too dumb to think outside of the box that we are put in from birth, via our education thru the Television and School, not to mention our Religious Indoctrination that most of us go thru............it may sound like crazy conspiracy bullshit when people call that shit brainwashing............but it fucking IS!!!! From the MOMENT you step foot on this planet, there is someone or something trying to get inside your mind thru a back door, attempting to live inside your brain and tell you what YOU ARE supposed to think about the world around you..........from what products you should by, to what you enjoy to do in your free time..........there is some kind of marketing or mind control being beamed out to you via something nowadays at damn near all times.
The Internet, Driving in your car listening to the Radio, Or Internet Radio, Watching TV, Commercials, Religion, School Work, Billboards.................I could go on for ever. It's 90% Brainwashing, 10% useful information, and sometimes less than that. What you witnessed and realized when you were tripping is what most Trippers I associate with like to call "The Matrix"...........AKA, the Fundamental Grid of Beliefs that makes up your average Human Existence, which essentially, is completely fake, has no basis in actual reality, and is just essentially a bunch of made up concepts and opinions to try and influence you to spend your money one way or another. It's not until that First really deep Psychedelic experience, that most people are able to see the bullshit they are being fed. I was lucky to see it before the Psychedelics, being raised part of a Disgusting Evil Religious Organization - Jehovah's Witnesses - which made it quite easy to see how Human's try and control one another's minds and perspective in order to control our buying and spending habits. It's quite disgusting when you witness all of that for the first time. It honestly made me want to just drop the fuck out of society all together, but then I tried that and it just led to a harder life and more misery. Now I've learned that life just come's down to balance, in all things. You have to allow the system and the matrix to be a part of your life, because it will always be a part of you and you will always be surrounded by it - so you can either decide to try and act like the rest of the world around you doesn't exist, or you'll have to go and live on some kind of hippie commune like someone mentioned. I recommend just finding a way to block out the parts of Society that are absolute bullshit..........I.E. basically all of the TV, minus some shows and documentaries.
You aren't crazy, and don't ever let anyone try and tell you otherwise. DO NOT let them try and force you to see a psychiatrist...........that shrink will straight try and put you on some SSRI's or SSNI's or some shit that will straight up BLOCK psychedelics from working, so you CANT open up your mind. I tried to turn a friend on the other day via DMT.............he's prescribed Depakote and Wellbutrin because he used to suffer from Depression and Anxiety. I gave him a 40mg hit of DMT, out of an Oil Burner, properly melted and vaporized, and he didn't feel a goddamn thing...........in my opinion because of those medications dulling his brain and blocking the psychedelia. FUCK THAT!! No government or institution will EVER control my mind or who I am. FUCK YOU America! I'll be smoking my Angel Dust until I become Angel Dust.

"money has no importance to me and neither do the things it can buy"

Be careful with that. There isn't even a decent jam band to follow around anymore if you want a carefree lifestyle. Rejecting our economic system is harder than ever, unless the homeless lifestyle suits you. The thing is, I agree with you, so I don't know what to tell you. I work non traditional hours and often trip during the normal people's rush hour. Watching that commuter train on LSD I thought those people looked sadder than a train car going to a Nazi death camp in the 30's. That system isn't making people happy, and you know it.
My suggestion is find a rewarding career that you are not in for the money. And throw your TV out, spend your free time outside or having sex or creating art. You aren't weird to think Big Brother is staged crap or that tv in general is garbage. You just saw thru the bullshit. A lot of people around here think this is the main reason why LSD is illegal anyway.
I don't see how a house in suburbs you never stop paying for and job you hate and 3 snot filled kids is supposed to be my dream, because it is not. Live the life you want to live, you only have one.
Also consider just working and saving money and go backpack around a world. It's one step above vagabond, but I know people who have been doing it decades now and they seem happy. Good luck.

You found out what is fake. Now you may want to find out what is real

Good luck, and stay away from the drugdealer at all cost. Unless he's giving you something nice

well im pretty sure that lsd users all seem to be above average inelegance with their punctuation, spelling and opinions. Too bad the whole world seems to think it melts your brain :P
