Anyone here suffer from this or seizures/ Epilepsy ?, i went away to Holland for 5 days last week and 2h after landing had 2 seizures landed myself in hospital for a night no memory at all didn't touch anything, after the second one (in the hospital) i was trying to rip the IV out of my hand, 5-6h memory loss, got out about 2pm next day aching like a mother fucker, so took it pretty easy just a few drinks here and there later learned that aunt and nans sister both had seizures growing up and for the last week I've just been tired as fuck, out of all the drugs ive done in the past nothing came near to this for memory loss not even mxe, and im booked in to have an EEG in early January.

Really think this could be an end to my random RC touching and drug use :D

Was it a full on seizure?

Learning you suffer means you need to be a lot more careful with your drug use - what you ingest, quantities, mixes and what sort of nights you go to - what the crowd is like, lightshows etc.

Have you got any idea of what triggered your seizure? Have you had any potential "close shaves" before which you couldn't work out what it was then but now might make sense?

Take care buddy. I've had a mini-seizure in a club before and hit the deck. Wasn't pleasant.

Were you rattling from owt? GBL can cause seizures in WD (i think), and i know benzos can

Maybe you're just allergic to dutchies?

I have epilepsy.

I've had it since I was 15. I had two seizures in the space of a week. Due to no alcohol or drug use. After my second seizure I was put on medication for life.

How old are you?

My first suggestion is no booze or drugs of any kind till the Drs finish their investigation. I know its obvious but seizures are very dangerous for a multitude of reasons, a major risk with drugs that lower seizure threshold can have longer fit. This is crucial as a seizure beyond five minutes is very bad as you don't breath so you are starving the brain massively. Its worth while being 100% sober for a month or two, even a pint of beer can set some epileptics off. So be 100% sober.

It also makes it easier for the Drs to work out what causes your seizure without the influence of drink or drugs. You will agree you want your diagnosis to be extremely accurate.

Being tired can be a trigger for epilepsy, for me being extremly tired is the sole non drink or drug related cause of my seizures. As for my drink and drug use, I'm lucky that I can drink as much as I like, never had one during or after heavy drinking.

With regards to drugs, I used to do MDMA and, or Acid with a Valium or 2, and never had a seizure. However I would never do MDMA its just not worth the risk. Ketamine was absolutely fine. Never do cocaine as it crashes the sodium levels in the brain so is highly dangerous for an epileptic to do! Even if you don't have a seizure I would recommend not doing it, as it is possible you may have a lower than average seizure threshold without being epileptic..... I think you can wouldn't be sure! Basically uppers are obviously really risky, I used to do them but not anymore.
No downers have ever set me off.

So my message here is be sober till Drs finished their investigation as even if you are epileptic it is still to do drugs! But then you have to decide the risk afterwards of doing drugs.

If you have a another seizure any time soon they will almost certainly put you on a anticonvulsant. I really hope you are get sorted. Having seizures is really shit, let's be honest! But if you do its very possible anticonvulsants work 100% for you.

Ask any questions on here or PM I'm more than happy to answer them.

And yes I have pissed myself twice whilst having a seizure, never shat myself thank fuck!

In opiate WD I get massive twitches that resemble a seizure, though thankfully they're much less malicious. I got tested for Temporal Lobe Epilepsy a few years back but never got the conclusion due to me leaving the psych treatment.
Get checked and stay safe, and that goes for anyone. :)
