Anyone ever taken Hoffman 1943 tabs? (Pic)

Just recently got some tabs out in south america they have this logo on them

anyone ever have them??? i hear theyre quiet famous any feed back would be appreciated. My trip will be posted in 2 days after i have my experience :] thanks 8o=D
 
they sell the blotter paper like crazy, i seriously doubt anybody else will have had the same lsd on theirs.
 
any possible way to tell how strong it is besides taking it?
ive taken doses before two at a time but never on blotter paper always on blank white paper. should i take two or one to experience some hallucanations
 
No way to tell without dropping it, my friend.
If after 1.5hr's you're not where you want to be, take another tab.
 
ime this is by far the most common print around. i guess most people who've taken acid at least a few times have come across 1943 hofmanns.
 
DOx = DOB/DOC/DOI. Psychedelic amphetamines, they make you trip, but they last like 2x as long as LSD, the trip is often felt to be less fun and have a higher body load, and they are not forgiving if you take multiple hits. With acid you can drop a strip and be fine, with a DOx, taking more than 1 hit can be physically hazardous.

A DOx will normally taste bitter (while LSD does not), and will take like 3 hours to come up.

The hoffman prints are EVERYWHERE. Lots of people are laying psychedelic drugs on them - acid, DOx, BrDFly, and god knows what else. There are some with wonderful high loadings of LSD on them, average ones, probably some being sold with nothing whatsoever on it, and some with DOx on them (a BLer posted about an unpleasant experience with hoffman blotter with DOx on it).

Of course, the take-away from all this, is to never take more than 1 hit of a blotter unless you're sure it legitimately has acid on it.
 
Interesting. Well i got these blotters out in south america surprisingly . And i took about half a tab last night with my girlfriend.When we both dropped the blotters on our tounge i got an imediate taste of something. Not sure how to describe the taste i guess chemicly you can say but very light taste. after taking half a tab each we waited about an hour and decided to smoke a joint . about ten mins after smoking that joint i started to realize lights were getting brighter like any other trip. I started getting real talkative and real happy. Things didnt get much further after this point and i figured it was b.c. i only took half a tab. Anyone have any idea maybe wat it was or possibly if its acid?
do DOx 's make you see things as well?

The ink of the blotter can sometimes affect the taste of the tab. If it kicked in after an hour or so (best way to describe it is as everything feeling/looking different, like it was slightly different) then it probably was LSD, if your up for it try another tab next time, I generally go by taking at least one tab always, as one tab is designed to be one hit or less - at least the ones I come across as there is some with a higher ug.

Sounds like the onset of a low dose LSD trip to me.

The taste you were tasting was probably just the ink from the blotter as chrisgonzo said. Im not a fan of the old saying "if its bitter, its a spitter", mainly because the ink from LSD blotter can be quite bitter, and higher doses of LSD are bitter themselves! Taste truly means nothing when identifying a chemical.

DOx's are definitely psychedelic, some more so than LSD!

Take a look through the erowid vaults for each substance, and read the trip reports on 'em, so you get a feel for 'em.

Some really like 'em, and some absolutely hate them. Its all just a matter of personal taste.

DOB *somewhat common*
DOC *not so common*
DOI *pretty common*
DOM *rare* (You wouldnt have to worry that much about DOM on blotter though, as DOM's dose is much higher than would fit on just one thin LSD blotter)


There are other DOx chemicals, (DON, DOPR, DOT, DOET, DOTFM, but they are very uncommon)
