Anyone ever puked from taking too big of a hit?

Hey everyone, this is my first thread i've ever posted so it might not be that great.

So first off i was smoking the other night when i took a big hit off my pipe, and next thing i remember i just puked everywhere. i don't really know if i swallowed it or something or maybe it was just too big of a hit. I'm not a novice smoker either, i've smoked for about a year and a half, and this has never happened to me. And also i'm use to big/bigger hits, i just don't really know what happened, it was kind of confusing. I also don't think i ate anything funny or drank liquor that night either. I talked to my friends and they said this has never happened to them either. The only other time i've puked using drugs is when i took 800mg of dxm. Not fun. But anyways if this has happened to anyone else let me know or if you know why it happened. Happy smoking!
 
yeah. massive tokes cover the back of my mouth/throat in resin and it triggers my gag reflex and I puke.

or when I inhale and fill my lungs and stomach with smoke, that triggers a vomit session as well.
 
It's never happened to me but I think I'd imagine that much thc smoke is quite a rush. I think i've come close to puking after hitting some unusually high grade nugs because it hits so fast and strong, maybe im just a noob.
 
I have never vomited from smoking, but it has happened to me from overdoing it with edibles.
 
Only from greening out, never from a single hit. I've got a wicked headspin plenty of times, but I don't get nauseous easily.
 
I've sort of thrown up I guess from too big of hit....it was mainly drool/saliva though.....lol although I do remember me and some homies were hotboxing with this huuuuuge hash bowl mixed in, like over board type shit....lol anyway during one of the hits he was just coughing his lungs lungs out then he opens the door and just starts throwing up his lunch (it was a philly cheese steak sandwich from subway) it was orange it was pretty nasty to say the least....ahaha so to answer your question yes. lol
 
Happens to me frequently, especially when I smoke while I'm already on something.

Most often it happens because I manage to swallow/eat smoke instead of inhaling... In the early days this would just result in me burping up a little smoke cloud but now it's a recipe for insta-vomit.

When I'm opiated I don't know what the fuck happens... I hold a hit in for more than 2-3 seconds and my most recent meal'll be making a second appearance in my life. I assume it's related to my problem with sometimes eating smoke when I'm slightly more stoned than I probably should be, but fuck if I really know.
 
Its never happened to me, but I have seen it happen before(unfortunately). As others have said a big hit can cause a gag reflex, or as I have experienced before, where you cough so hard that your hacking turns into a puke.
 
iv grand slammed before doing just that . a grand slam is puking pissing and shitting all at once by the way not nice total loose of bodily function normally its only when drunk and smoking but not all ways :)
 
No, there must be something wrong with you, because i've never seen a person even come close to puking from taking a big hit.

Did you not just see all the people who replied to the poster who said that it happens and there is NOTHING WRONG with him? Including me, the moderator of Cannabis Discussion.

I'v never seen anyone Die from a drug over-dose....doesnt meant it doesnt happen.

The only times I have ever puked from smoking was when I had blended it with tobacco.
Hate that shit.
 
when i smoked too much potent weed, & i have not a lot of tolerance, i felt super sick about the puke during my high
 
For a while when I would wake up and smoke my first bowl I'd rip it so hard I would gag and sometimes puke....
 
when i started smoking I would get high out of my mind every time so it usually ended up in nausea -> puking

it rarely happens now though but if my tolerance goes down it can happen if i smoke way too much
 
Yes, several times during coughing fits after pushing my limits with the bong. Thankfully, nowadays I have a digital Volcano which very much facilitates pushing my limits of the cannabis high. I am able to put in my vape chamber 20 times the amount of material I would be able to properly hit in a bong, cook the weed at a higher than usual temperature of 420F, and consume all the cannabanoids in a couple of super high density vapor bags. Come to think of it, I have probably puked from doing this too. I am still an avid bong ripper due to the pleasure of smoking.
