Opioids Anyone ever inject with a 23G Needle? (Please help / harm reduction)

Have you guys ever injected with a 23G needle? Is this dangerous or can seriously damage the vein?

I normally use 1CC 31G needles, but I want to inject more than 1CC and only have 23G Terumos ...

You can get 3mL barrels with smaller gauges, but what is it that you're trying to inject that can't fit into 1mL? (I'm guessing pills???)

23G needles would be OK depending on the vein. (18G are used to stick your antecubital to draw blood.) If you're using something caustic, smaller is better. Wondering why you can't use a 1cc and just switch out syringes?

I feel like having to do 2-3 shots in a row fucks up the experience/high/rush because of the delay between each... thoughts / Agreed?

the biggest gauge i've used is 25 and i'd rather not but i haven't found a smaller gauge on a 3ml syringe

Whatever reason you have for using that size needle, it's probably not justified. The short answer is yes, you will hurt your veins. Forgive me for stating the obvious, but every time you inject into a vein you poke a hole in it. That hole needs to heal, and if you're using a bigger rig the hole will be bigger and and take more time to heal. Not to mention if you're doing it all the time, you're veins will go to shit pretty quick.

Thats a steroid guage needle freind. Do yourself a favor and dont do it. Can it work? Sure, I suppose. Would it be a good idea...hell no. No idea what your trying to iv but unless you have the proper gear then just dont do it. I wouldnt use a 28g ultrafine to shoot testosterone becuase its not the right tool for the job. Dont do something stupid and use a steroid guaged needle to IV with. Its not worth the risk.

If you have no way to filter you dont shoot. If you have no cooker for your BTH you dont shoot, If you cant find a vein then you dont shoot. If you havent got a point thats suitable for IV use you dont shoot. If youre serious about harm reduction as you mentioned in your thread title then dont shoot until you get a properly sized point

Thanks guys, def not using it to shoot. I have a bunch of 31G for shooting, but only 1CC as mentioned.
