If you put on headphones or are even at a show, do you notice that when you are rolling balls, everything sounds a lot lower? I was blasting headphones at my usual volume one time and it didn't sound loud at all and the bass was lacking to what it usually seemed like.

When on MDMA, i can feel every decibel in my chest and head, everything sounds louder but i seem to be able to enjoy louder sounds.

Sometimes when Im really fkd up the bass can sound almost muffled or like I have my head underwater etc.

Normally it just sounds amazing though

Definitely sounds different for me, but not consistently lower. Clearer, and it's easier to understand other people than it normally is for me (i have hearing/audio processing issues), but not lower more so than any other change.

yeah, that's how i know i'm rolling, when i start talking and I could hear myself talk... LOL.. you guys know what i mean.. your voice just sounds different to you

yeah every sense is lowered on MDMA. Learned that the hard way my first roll. Took a shower, "hmm is something wrong with the hot water? it's on almost all the way and it's not scorching..." It was an awesome shower but my skin was beet red for a few days and almost felt like a sunburn.

I noticed you can listen to music much louder- but the damage to your ears stays the same, so that's why I used to actually use the volume lock on my ipod to prevent damage.

Hmm, I find that I can pick any conversation out of a crowd on mdma or any sort of stimulant actually. Normally I can barely hold a conversation with the person next to me yelling in my ear.

But that's just me.

I was once hippy flipping really hard and sitting with a group of friends - my hearing sort of had a 30 seconds delay :D I was answering people long after they had asked the question and I just got so confused. I covered my ears thinking that I would catch up with the conversation ? I gave up and hit the dancefloor instead.

I really love that effect when sound becomes more louder/clearer/crisper. When I took it at my first party it felt like the small hall turned into a really large cavern. A lovely effect for someone who is a bit of an audiophile :).
