I don't see a reason for "lol" to be in the same post as benzo addiction. Glad you can only take them once a week, but for many of us it's far more often, and we feel like shit when we don't take it. There are several threads about benzo addiction on BL, perhaps check them out before you decide to take a ton of benzos, forget you even took so many, and waste good drugs.

if you are taking those benzos compulsively - and it sounds like you are - and you describe yourself as having a "problem" with them....

call it what you want to, but it sounds like you've got most of axes of addiction nailed. has your weekly compulsive use of benzos ever caused a problem in your life? (like caused you to lie, steal, break the law, etc) if so, then you're almost certainly addicted.

disagree? fine with me.

lol no. i even go weeks without. i usually for stim comedowns. but i just have a high tolerance to drugs in general..so i start with 1mg and will usually go to 3mg, 4mg once.

take some klonopin, it kills the fiend for other drugs, and also helps sustain the fiend for benzos, xanax and ativan for example will lead you to fiend more.

Ive found after taking benzos for 3 days in a row is when I start to get addicted pretty hardcore and have to stop or itl spiral out of control.

I think he is asking if anybody else has the compulsive behavior of continuing to take more and more once they have felt the effects of the first one. Like when your drunk you still continue to drink more and more until you probably black out. That same behavior happens with some people & benzodiazepines. Once your starting to feel the effects and decide they are too subtle, you take another. And then another 30 minutes pass...take another, and then another 15 minutes pass...take another, etc. until you most likely black out...just like you would with alcohol usage.

I must admit that in the past I have had this problem so if I ever go somewhere I leave the rest of the bottle at home so I don't continue to take them habitually. And that's what it becomes, a habit. And its so easy for that to become dependency. Addiction is easy to obtain from benzodiazepine use.

^that's how I took it (compulsive re-dosing) and yes, this is one of the most common effects from benzodiazepines.
