Anyone else hate suboxone?

I thought it would be fun to rail 8mg when my tolerance was like, idk, a single bag of not-so-great dope or an o40. I was in the same boat apparently. Noooo fun.
 
Suboxone will fuck. you. up. if you have little to no tolerance. Its stronger than fentanyl on mg per mg basis.
 
No, snorted. But Im sure IV too. When I had almost no tolerance, 1mg had me very very very high for close to 18 hours. Nods, itching, euphoria, the works. Its just when you have a tolerance, you dont get those effects. I dont even try to get those effects anymore either. This was when I was younger and still naive about what suboxone really should be used for (they were also my friends prescription, not my own.)

I may be wrong about the "stronger than fentanyl" claim, although Im pretty sure Im not, but regardless, its still one of the strongest opioids available for prescription.
 
Believe me, I exercise extreme caution snorting that shit even with a tolerance ... had more than one bad experience that way, but also it is a more, um, efficient, ROA, definitely.

Fentanyl was never my thing. Maybe it was when I saw my friend fall out and turn blue after smokin little balls of duragesic, but it was never my thing.
 
Snorting is the only way I use it. I feel like I get a lot more for a lot less that way. I dont get high by any means, but damn, I dont know what Id do without the energy/motivation and mood lift it gives me every day. I only snort ~5 or 6mg throughout the day, so about 1.5 - 2mg at a time.
 
i need something now i cant get high.. i was pussy footing around with suboxone not taking it seriously because i wanted real stuff. I have no tolerance maybe it will work for maintance purpose or atleast keep me out of jail.
i am going crazy with no drugs, i got tons of valium but thats not doing the trick either, and i quit that for a month so tolerance is not a issue. Drinking make me dysphoric, can't get weed would get caught if smoked it anyway.

I hope i don't go and be stupid like i was 13 and start drinking cough syrup and doing duster again..that wont be cool. I might got a source of ketamine, i don't think they test you for that..never done it but heard it pretty fun.
 
Do you have any suboxone available to you at the moment? If you do, we can probably help you figure out a good dose to take.
 
no when i got in trouble with the law.. i had like over 200 xanax, 200 clono, 500 ativan, 1000 valiums, and bottle and bottles of suboxone and a ton of psych meds.. I threw it all away. Thought the tempation would be too strong, also thought about OD'ing on tryciics so i trashed them. Im kicking myself about the benzo's though because the judge said im allowed to use them because i suffer from panic disorder..and i had legit prescription for the kpins and xanax and suffered the worst month in my life. Now my psych wont give them to me because at first I thought they were going to make me stop taking them..and all my internet sources dried up.

All i got is valium and for some reason it does not do a thing. I like xanax much better. I actually enjoy high doses of lyrica over valium.
 
I HATE IT!!!! IT gives me far to many side effects... and I'm not talking PW's, I'm talking regular side affects; head aches, anxiety.. it always makes me feel as if I've taken to much cold medicine... almost like the side effects of pseudoephedrine.

head aches, anxiety..me too i also felt like i wanted to vomt if i accidentaly swallowed some. I thought I heard people posting that it helped there anxietyy. My brother also said it made his worse, it made his heart beat real fast, he actaully went in and had tests because he thought he was having heart problems.
 
I have gotten the sub headaches, but that's about all from the side effects I've heard about here. Anxiety ,definitely not, it helped with that more than anything ... my headaches went away with some ASA though.
 
suboxone headaches are caused by the naloxone. If they become severe, tell your doctor. Maybe he will give you subutex.

Anxiety is definitely not a side-effect of buprenorphine. Id look into your mental health to find the cause of that.
 
My MMT doc wants to change me to Sub after he found out I have health insurance.
I have read a little on it, but it just didn't seem for me...but this thread has piqued my interest a bit more. I am going to do some more reasearch.
Just don't like what I have been reading about people coming off of methadone....
But I will say it has saved me considering where I came from and where I am now.
 
ive been taking sub for almost a month now and everytime i take it it gives me that sense of well being. maybe a lil euphoric at times. i agree its a life saver. i was sober for 3 weeks before i relapsed this weekend but i swear if anything is gonna get me off opiates its this shit mayne(subs)....
 
Yeah, no projectile vomiting for me.

I just did a line of it and smoked a blunt... then I had to go to work. Which consisted of me sweeping and mopping like 20 flights of stairs. Which led to me being extremely dizzy, lightheaded, nauseous and just generally feeling like curling up into a tight ball and rolling into an empty grave.

Yeah, I hate suboxone alright.
 
if you switch to suboxone to methadone be careful.. i went down to 30mg and even wait three days and it still threw me into the worst withdawal imaginable..it felt like i wanted to saw my leg off they hurt so bad.

Now you tell us...if you were switching to suboxone from methadone you should have given it even more time. Methadone's got an insanely-long half life so there was probably still a fair amount of it in your system even 3 days after your last dose. Hence the precipitated w/d's from the suboxone...
