This is what happens. One point in the high I will feel like a million bucks then 1 Minute later feel sad and upset for some reason then get happy again. And this loop continues till the high is over.

Basically waves of happy then disappointment

In addition: to describe the feeling in detail, it feels like the future is just boring with repatriation

Edit: switch top nailed it. Mood swings, at 1 point I was having CRAZY euphoria, then litterly minutes after this a feeling of sadness and feeling as life sucks. My life definitely doesn't suck but no matter what I did I could not shake the feeling for a good 15 minutes then the cycle continues

The question of whether you are on other medications is very relevant. Also do you struggle with anxiety, generally speaking even when not on drugs/medications?I used to get feeling exactly as you've indicated, but I'm a highly anxious person and Adderall aggravates my anxiety. In general I didn't usually experience anxiety on adderall until I had reached peak plasma levels, but after 2 hours I usually felt worse than I did before dosing. I was prescribed adderall for quite some time and the experience you seem to be describing is the reason I was constantly reducing. Truth is that I didn't feel remotely better until I quit chasing the high and stayed off amphetamines for about a month. If you are a high anxiety person, I recommend avoiding stimulants.

I am on gabapentin but haven't taken it in a couple days. I do have anxiety put it doesn't usally persist on adderall.

same here, although it seems to be more apparent with ER tabs. are you snorting them? gabapentin and addys are generally pretty safe to mix, but everyone is different

When I do take my GABA with adderall it's a smooth good high. However today I decided not to. It was ER tabs and I didn't have time to crush it up so I just took the beads out and put them under my tounge than later chewed the rest of the beads.

I have experienced this on adderall multiple times. This was before I was prescribed a benzo to legitimately control my anxiety. Now the mood swing effects of stimulants are a bit dulled, but I still keep careful not to push it, because if I do, it's as if I haven't taken any benzo and I'm a bit helpless.

I'm with you 100% OP, I have this all the time. In my case this phenomena happens when I start to get bored on adderall. if I find something to do that is engaging then I'm the happiest guy on earth but once things settle down the depression hits me like a ton of bricks literally only seconds after I get bored. Once I get this feeling it's extremely hard to shake until I'm back to baseline.

I have experienced this exact effect while taking Adderall. I too was on gabapentin, so that might have something to do with it.

It always happened a few hours after ingestion, as part of the host of effects that indicated that the drug was wearing off. Then, the "good" waves became increasingly few and far between, and eventually gave way to a sustained "bad" wave, which I would call the "crash."
