Benzos anyone else get super hungry after taking benzos?

This happens every single time I take a xanax...I get a huge appetite and want to eat everything in sight. Does this happen to anyone else? Or am I just weird? Haha

I've had it happen to me before. Rare, but occasionally it happens.

Maybe you're weird, but I know I get super hungry from benzos. Like mega-super hungry. I could eat a days worth of food of I was on enough of my medicine.

YES. If I take 1-2 mg I can double my caloric intake for even a binge-like day. It also allows you to savor the food so much more -- every bite is not so much a mission (like it would be after intense glycogen depletion), but more so a joyous activity.

I just ate 6 donuts and 5 slices of pizza...lol. I can usually eat a lot, considering im pretty small. People are always amazed at how much food I can eat. I always thought it was just me. Nice to know im not the only one who eats like a pig after taking benzos. Funny thing is I'm still hungry as hell...after eating all that junk

god yes. weed rarely gives me the munchies anymore, but benzos always do and often (and possibly related) alcohol as well.

Yes! I just had some klonopin, and there's nothing more I'd love right now than to devour a large pineapple pizza, chicken nuggets, and cheesy bread

That's about triple what I would eat in a normal day.

Yep, benzodiazepines always give me the munchies.
