I have taken MDMA on multiple occasions, years prior to first being exposed to temazepam. The effects of MDMA always sedated me rather than giving me energy. They also resulted in great empathy and a very positive outlook on life and mankind for me.
Now that I have been taken temazepam on occasion I have found that there are subtle similarities between the two substances, which seem so far apart in terms of effects and chemistry. Yet when you think about it, they both lower inhibition to some extent...allowing the user to speak his/her mind more openly, alongside feeling pleasant tactile sensations.
Are there pharmacological similiarties between the two substances, and do others out there feel that temazepam is a unique benzodiazepine in it's effects?
Just took 90 mg codeine alongside 30 mg temazepam and 0.25 mg benztropine, with 300 mg gabapentin. The high is nice, but the plateau is short and doesn't last too long. But I will say, the temazepam even when taken alone seems to produce a unique body-glow reminiscent of MDMA. Anyone else have this experience?
