Anyone else agree that dosage is only half the story?

there's many factors that affect how hard you will roll, i'd say dosage is only 50% of the story and that's being generous, other 50% can be anything from.. how you feel on the day/mood before taking it, how healthy/how much nutrients your body has, if your stomach is empty/full and your mindset/environment whilst rolling

ive taken 180mg and rolled moderately, whilst ive gotten floored soo hard from 100 before

i think more people should realize this when they don't roll too hard, they always instantly try blame the quality of the powder rather than focus on many more important factors

If you hang around here long enough you will see the phrase "set and setting" toss around alot. this is reffering to the mind set of the person taking MDMA and the environment they took MDMA in. Both can play a huge part in the quality of the MDMA experience and are overlooked far too often.

Yes and no. Dosage is the number one variant of your experience IMO. Set and setting, mood and diet is second/third.

Pretty much sums it up. Set and setting do play a huge part. if you take your perfect dose of MDMA in an empty house you might feel good. You take the same amount at a bust party with loads of nice folk, music and a good vibe you'll be feeling fucking amazing.

Agreeeeeee! I refuse to roll outside of clubs with my favourite crew, going all out and having the best nights, I have had so many life-changing moments/memories/stories from MDMA that I will never forget, all of them to do with my friends and environment playing a huge factor. <3

Biggest factors i think are:

1. Dose (100mg is a light/average dose, good for first timers, 120mg is a gooden and 150mg it starts getting more intense
2. Setting / who you are with ; Ive always had a much better time raving with people i first ever got on it with, not that i feel safe but i feel like i dont have to look out for others , they know what they are doing. Also a BIG Music festival is gonna smash it for ya, where as a little small rave might not be as good.
3. Overall Tolerance to all/over drugs, for example if someone uses a lot of opiates, i dont think that MDMA will effect them in the same way as someone who dont use drugs that much, this even goes for Cannabis users. Cannabis users appear more prone to anxiety on mdma, i never used to get any come up anxiety until i tried weed.
i used to love the fact my vision would go blurry and stuff would seem rushy ...

dosage is the biggest factor imo
Then comes set and setting

but it's almost impossible to feel bad just because you are home alone listening to music while on MDMA
Thats why I mean dosage is more important than set and setting to have a good trip
