i live in glendale arizona and tonight on our local news was a story about 4 high school students calling 911 after smoking spice before school. apparently they were "freaking out" due to increased heart rate.

anyways this is about the fifth time in 3 months that i've seen spice mentioned on our local news and each time it is always negative.

my point being.... how is this crap able to remain legal and mary jane is still illegal?

Another thing that irritates me about spice being on the news is.... For the most part spice/JWH is relatively unknown to people who don't already use drugs... in the news story not only are they announcing it to the kids/teens who don't know about it, but they also mention where it can be purchased.. I.E. internet or smoke shops. LOLLLLL they started the news broadcast with this line....

"It seems teens have found a new way to get high" lol my ears perked up as soon as i heard those words.

I read an article on MSN about it a while back titled "Fake weed, real drug" or something along those lines. Overall the article painted it in a negative light, vaguely saying that it's dangerous. Plus it said that it causes vomiting...which made me not want to try it because who in their right minds would enjoy vomiting?

Now, of course, I understand that it's not as harmful as the article said, but I'm still not going to try it until I know a bit more about it.

I've tried it a few times, and i would say its relatively comparable to THC. I will definitely say it does cause an increased heart rate to the point where i can understand that people say it causes panic attacks. I've had it happen to me however i'm experienced enough to understand the drug is causing an elevated heart rate and that simple breathing techniques can solve the problem.

i've never heard about vomiting though? i've never had that problem

I just tried it the other day. Very powerfull psychadelic, comparable to smoking weed when I had no tollerance with hallucinations, nodding off, and disoriantation. I smoked it with a stranger I met downtown and I had no idea what it was untill I looked it up when I got home. I thought she had laced some cooking spices with pcp it was so intense. Would deff like to try it again, now that I know better. I had heart palpitations as well.

As a regular daily Spice/JWH-018 user that keeps track of his blood pressure and heart rate multiple times a day. I can tell you that from my experience, regular use does not increase my blood pressure or heart rate (in fact it lowers my blood pressure).

These kids and new users try it and have an anxiety attack and freak out. The anxiety attack increases the heart rate.

Ya I've become a regular user myself due to probation issues. I will say that my first time I got a little anxiety because I smoked four hits and I was that high. Nothing a little food and drink then sex could not solve though. It is truly a great comparison to getting really high off of some good dro.

Laws are not made overnight. It's a lengthy process. Beleive me, with all these dumbasses calling 911 spice, k2, and any blend containing any jwh-xxx will eb illegal soon.

It's inevitable becuase of all the stupid 14 year old fucks.

I presonally like my jwh-018.

I for one will miss jwh-018. I wish they could jus tmake the blends illegal but thatll never happen.

I saw a report on the local news about synthetic cannabinoids just last night. "Its 10x more powerful than marijuana, and it's killing our kids." Direct quote. They went on to compare it to LSD and how a ban is imperative. Apparently this stuff causes schizophrenia too.

It is pretty silly how they introduce these things to the public who otherwise would have no idea. Hard hitting stuff though.

Yeah I honestly heard the headliner. Synthetic marijuana, 1000 more times potent than normal weed, like playing russian roulette with you body.

The same activists claim that weed causes schizophrenia too.

It is all blown out of proportion..

The first mention of this on the news that I saw was when Kansas (where I live) outlawed jhh-018 and 073. No mention of 015, 081 200 250..... Simple logic would tell u if there's an 18 and a 73 there are many others. But logic is a weapon the drug warriors lack.
