Anybody working on a journalism degree? help a noob :)

I mean writing journalism not photo and video journalism. Writing a screen play, working for the news, write a book, sports writer... things like that are what i want.

previously I had been working towards a degree in the health field, but changed everything for this up coming semester.... i decided i wanted to try journalism.


is it a good or bad degree to have? Bachelors

i WAS going to major in this.. it's not going to be ALL that. screen plays are film pro shit but as for writing yes journalism will cover all aspects needed to get a job doing things you listed

It will certainly help you if you want to follow journalism as a career but in the industry it's all about experience. Offer yourself to a as many places for work experience as possible whilst your doing the course.
