Benzos Anybody have success using phenazepam daily?

I used to be on 4mg/day clonazepam for years.. with dexedrine. Went off for many reasons but mainly i couldn't afford to see a doctor and tapered off.

I recently got like 30 2mg kpins, and that was enough to get w/d and get mildly addicted - but it was soooo great to have that anxiety relief again, made more friends at work, talk more etc.

Now i'm on phenazepam daily (cheap, legal). At the beginning 0.5mg was good enough but now tolerance has set in and i'm at about 2mg/day sometimes 3mg. I notice a weird strobing effect when i am looking at something bright, then look in the dark (noticed this on all other benzo's but its more apparent with phenaz).

Anyone have success using phenazepam daily instead of a regular prescribed benzo? It does work great for anxiety but sometimes it affects my coordination, and my speech sounds kinda drunk.. this is at the level of phenaz required to calm down anxiety. I'm hoping those "side effects" go away while the anxiety effects stay working but who knows.

Also I know phenaz has a long half life, but I still have to take it like twice a day or i notice it wear off.. especially when i wake up in the morning I feel "weird" til i take a dose of phenaz. Not "weird" like withdrawal though.

No not at all. You seem to be falling down that slippery slope, if you read the majority of my posts they deal with the horror of phenazepam. The super long half life means you should probably only dose once every 3 days at most if you plan on being dependent and not fucking it up terribly. I had week long blackouts from it just building up taking over 10mg/day at my worst.

If you are dosing twice per day that is even worse; I felt the same though like I had to dose 3-4 times a day but I think it's mostly in 'our' heads. The rapid increase in tolerance is another terrible warning sign, that shit is potent.

You are already getting warning signs that you are taking too much; slurred speech, loss of coordination. Let me tell you, the worst is yet to come. Eventually you'll be falling all over the place, picking fights with strangers, thinking you are amazing and indestructible and forgetting everything. Once it hits that point you've gone much too far. I had to get 3 teeth removed (smashing my face off a wall after falling down some stairs) and I broke my toe while on phenazepam all due to loss of coordination. I also probably had a concussion from slipping in the shower (which happens a lot) but never sought medical attention.

The w/d from phenazepam lasts forever too, not literally but it brought me down for 6 solid weeks of terror when I was dosing over 10mg/day.

Maybe if you dosed once per week at 1mg, maybe it could work out. The thing with having a whole bunch of it is that it limits your self control and when you lose your inhibitions and don't care, then you end up taking too much.

Those side effects will go away as you gain more tolerance but since p-pam hits that gaba-a5 subunit for amnesia (i'm no pharmacologist) you are going to black out whether you realize it or not. I have a lot of experience with trying to use this substance therapeutically and also with abusing it. There is a thin line between the two and if you take a bit too much one day that line can be blurred easily.

I don't want to sound like a douche but taper yourself off that shit; you're already going to find a terrible w/d so you'll need medical attention if you can't taper yourself. Take it from me I've lost everything because of phenazepam a couple of times now and it's all smooth sailing until you run out and reality starts rushing back. It's nothing like opiates where the cost of using forces you to lie/cheat/steal; you'll do that anyway on phenazepam like some sort of sick sociopath or maybe it's just me.

Sure you have anxiety but this will make it 100x worse. The fact that is so damn cheap is difficult, I probably only spent 250-300 to ruin my life but it was all the impulse purchases and bad financial decisions I made which really fucked me over (getting massive loans, credit cards and buying shittons of other drugs). Please be careful and take this seriously.

Phenazepam can be used daily but many people do not fare well with huge amounts of benzos. 3mg/ day is about equal to 0.5mg clonazepam 3x daily IMO, so your dosing is not too horrible at this point, but be wary. I'm not going to get into a benzo benefits/ drawbacks discussion right now, but you should be careful of relying too heavily on benzos.

Discussing just the merits of phenazepam compared to other benzos, it isn't a horrible choice due to the long half-life, but for many, there is a bit more amnestic action than is desirable. I find phenazepam to be a pretty "heavy" benzo, in that it is fairly intoxicating, and this makes it somewhat less appropriate for daily use than clonazepam/ diazepam/ a few others. Still, it can be done.

^ i personally found phenazepam to be more potent than clonazepam (I switched from 3mg/day of phenazepam to 4mg/day of klonopin and didn't find much of a difference). I'm not sure about the accuracy of conversion charts and how they apply individually but subjectively, I think 3mg/day of phenazepam has disaster written all over it.

I'm somewhat of a benzo virgin, therefore small doses wipe my anxiety away pretty well. However, I feel that if I dose early in the day then the therapeutic effects are practically gone entirely by the end of the day.

Definitely not one to play around with though.

Benzos are definitely much more effective during the initial setting-in phase. Personally, I find that they are only effective during this period, and they leave me with a headache for the rest of the duration.

I'm just going to switch to xanax or klonopin.. was on kpin for like 7 years and it always worked, i just ran out of money and went psychotic from too much amphetamines.

Another weird thing i've noticed is that phenazepam seems to INCREASE psychosis from stimulants.. why would that be, when most benzo's help relieve it? I get this strong strobing effect when I look at something bright then look at something dark - i get it a little with all benzo's but with phenaz its STRONG.

Well today i scored 40 x 2mg xanax bars... I took one 2mg bar and the minor psychosis from meth IMMEDIATELY went away...

But now i'm at 6mg xanax and am still wide awake, maybe partly from meth but i barely even feel the xanax... phenaz is potent shit...

I think the only thing phenazepam might be good for is to have around when your out of your normal benzo's and going to go into w/d.. it will work for that, but thats about the only thing good about it. It "fucks you up" too much, and does some weird/odd stuff unlike other benzo's.

There is something about phenazepam that increases psychosis with stimulants.. somehow it acts differently than other benzo's.

Phenaz is a hypnotic for starters, allthough it has anxiolytic properties, i would go for etizolam rather than phenaz for anxity, you might not notice it, but i'm sure from the outsid people can see your behaviour change, being constantly benzoed out on 2-3mg phenaz, which is a huge daily dose, be carefull, i ccan't picture continuing with phenaz leading anywhere else than fucking up your social, proffessional and intimatte life, sooner or later, probably sooner....

phatass speaks the truth. People DO notice when you're all benzoed out. It's really obvious to anyone that knows your personality and when completely unfiltered like that on benzos for months one can say some pretty crazy/strange/fucked up things and not really remember a lot of it. I have my own benzo horror story. Just look at all my posts for the past few months...
